  • I started almost a year ago and look how far I've come.

  • David belle invented parkour tho!

  • Y'all can be my new best friends ! Haha (:

  • What shoes would you guys recommend? something would good overall grip would be best.

  • Would bare feet be better for Parkour than shoes? Which would give you better grip?

  • @ShadowOfDelbi Bare feet would probably give you the best grip of all. The only consideration would be rough surfaces.

  • @Obsidian1138 What is your take for minimalist shoes for parkour?

  • @ShadowOfDelbi try a pair of Vibram Five Fingers. it's like running bare foot but without tearing up your feet

  • @ShadowOfDelbi the best shoes are no shoes, but don't start on abrasive surfaces and be careful about doing cat climbs and crane landings

  • i've realized that parkour is much like the techniques of a ninja so i would figure that a tracuer would have one personal weapon on hand and use his/her surroundings as weapons if needed

  • @William9691000 Amongst the group, various shoes including: Nike Darts, Asics Patriots, Kalenji Success. At the time we made this video, some of us were wearing K Swiss Ariakes, but only because we were given them for free. They're not much good for parkour.

  • 2:14 : Come on Pippin! you can do it!

  • 2:05 LOL i need to learn that trick

  • @sk8pkl The trick is called "Dashvault-wait-no-I-changed-my-mind"

  • @orkahaettbranamn haha thx :P

  • love 6:05 sweet!

  • Ahaha. You almost killed that grandma!! :25

  • areyou doin any new vids lately cuz your well sick and i think i could use some tutorails plz thank you

  • 6:57 Im sexy and i know it :D

  • 0:24 ahahah

  • I really want to learn parkour!!! Do you have any tips for me? Because i think i need tutorials and conditioning. Any Tips?

  • hey what kind of shoes should you use?

  • Actually Sebastien Foucan is the inventor of freerunning

David Belle is the real creator of Parkour (:

  • Mikojack1 i quitted soccer for parkour too, my parents just hate it because they think that it is too dangerous . But now they actually think it is okay if i am careful (; parkour is so releasing, it pushes away All my worries and makes me feel free ! Do parkour i you feel like doing it !(; greetings from Denmark !

  • you make it look so effortless and easy. bloody hate you for that XD

  • Man at 3:34 I got all excited cause I thought he was gonna just THROUGH the garbage can >:/

  • No skateboarding allowed? pff that's mean :P

  • addidas the best

  • do u guys get a lot of blisters from doing this?and do u ever wear gloves?

  • @jake800man After a while, you develop callouses on your hands, so blisters almost never happen. Gloves are no good for parkour as you really need to be able to grip surfaces properly. I tried gloves for a while back in 2005, and they were significantly worse than no gloves at all.

  • @jake800man The body is adaptable, the more it is abused the stronger it becomes

  • i know whose not gonna b kidnapped....

  • how much training did it take you to do these kinds of moves?

by the way what do you recommend if I can't do pull ups, and i really want to learn how to do a climb up?

  • Can anyone do parkour if they really tried to? I mean, does it take a certain amount of talent? Or is it a skill mastered in time?

  • @peteremarin Yes, anyone can do parkour. In you're new to it, start off with relatively simple movements and progress gradually over time. Nobody is instantly good at parkour. Everything has to be practiced and slowly improved upon. It's worth finding a group in your area who can help to get you started.

  • @MrJoshmetal1 This video was filmed quite a while ago on a Sony HDR-HC7 which is just a consumer camcorder. There are much better options out there now though.

  • Thats how im going to get down stairs now 9:17

  • 0:23 hahahah

  • 3:22 l0l !!

  • 3:22

  • 0:23 LOOL !! look at the old man at left when the parkour boys go!!! njajajajaaja he was scared!! LOOOOL

  • HMMM! i was wearing regular sneaker but switch to a pair of shoes with a wider sole. they were in the house probably one of my biger brothers. hehe. PARKOUR HOUSTON!!!!!!!! nm on that note. still haven't found anyone yet. lol

  • Police - Hey stop that!

    PK Guy - Why?

    Police - Its too dangerous!

PK Guy - Well if you want to arrest me i'll be on top of this really tall building!

Police - What if I take the stairs?

PK Guy - I'll be on the ground a mile away...

  • hey dude... i got surhery a while back and now im all healed up... i dicided not to play football anymore for parkour... is that a good idea? my parents say its only for french people! thanks

  • @mikojack1 I am just a beginner but you should do what you feel is best for you.

  • @ededdeddy1999 ok buddy, thanks man!

  • realy

    awesome

  • Awesome

  • I was wondering, I am training for parkour, and I wanted to know if their is a such thing as a training facility for parkour?

  • @the3x0c1st101 There is, its called the world around you.

  • could you advise some good trainers for parkour?

  • @RossMCcool Any trainers which you find comfortable. Probably avoid shoes with too much cushioning, as this can lead to poor technique in landings. A lot of people like Kalenji's, which are available from Decathlon in the UK. Personally, I'm using Asics Patriots at the moment. It's down to your own preference though.

  • Whats the name of the first song? :D

  • @theblckmag The clue is in the title of the video! It's by Fatboy Slim by the way ;)

  • Gah, I recently sprained my ankle on a bad stride and am missing training. I can now limp around after been off of it for 2 weeks. Any ideas of what training I could do? I would assume just pull ups and upper body stuff.

  • 4:21 do you chew? O.O

  • 2:54 lmao

  • 1:34 No Skateboarding

    No Rollerblading

    No Problem.

  • 9:27 Amazing lol

  • Reminds me of assassins creed :)

  • ha! @6.58

  • At 4:15 I nearly yelled: "You on the wrong side of tha' road!!" Then went: "Oh right..."

  • who needs a getaway car when you can do this shit

  • ...you guys are amazing.... where'd you guys do this anyway?

  • @jumpjet66 The majority of this video is shot in Manchester, where we usually train.

  • Just changed it too Harry Parkour Croft my profile picture is me doing a handstand

  • Very nice :) good precision an flow :) 1 day I think we should all meet up haha add me on facebook Harry Dj-Luse Croft an we can organise something when your not busy and at the moment I'm limited to my movement because I broke my elbow recently failing at an dash an jumped to high haha we all learn from our mistakes :)

  • where did u get the shes at 01:55

  • @Gfw36026 They're the K Swiss Ariake's. We were given several pairs by K Swiss. They're not much good for parkour really.

  • @Obsidian1138 realy? well do you know if the k swiss tubes are any good for parkour? PS: I have subscribed because I love parkour, I love your vids and I LOVE THE SONG WEAPON OF CHOICE! And where do you train around because Im looking for a good place to practice and people to practice with?

  • How many blisters do you think you get in about a month?

  • @TheBrainDeadWarriors None, because after a while, the skin toughens up with callouses, so blisters don't happen.

  • @Obsidian1138 i wish i lived in manchester i would hangout with u guys

if u let me of course lol

  • Parklor is such a positive and healthy (if you don't fuck up) thing.

    I admire it.

  • u maynot B able to skate in some places but u cn Parkour anywhere

  • @04:16 I thought holly shit he is driving on the wrong side of the street. But then I remember you are from England :)

Excellent video. You guys are my inspiration!!

  • 00:24 LMAO look at the old man running xD !

  • @ration2012 Good question. It was actually on the whole time. I switched it off in the edit ;)

  • ESTA SEMANITA LA APROBECHARE PARA PRACTICAR UN POCO DE ESTO->

  • u guys are really good... make parkour look so easy

  • seen a lot better

  • @Theinfamous0893 TROLOLOLOL

  • as good as this is I see no practical use in 90% of the stuff you did. You should make a vid of something better like a race or something thats useful.

  • @Chaixelm your an idiot? in what way is a race more useful than what they did?

  • @AudioInjectedSoul11 because flipping over a rail takes 5seconds, walking past it takes shorter... and a race is more useful because you can race for games, some competitions they do for parkour and if your in danger. So your the idiot. kthnx

  • @Chaixelm no, racing would be freerunning, parkour isnt. Hence the video title.

  • @AudioInjectedSoul11 lol i see my bro's been commenting... lol sry bout this.

  • damn 3:02 haha i would have fell half way

  • for te so called inventor of parkour the dude seems TERRIFIED of what he's doing

  • where can I sign up for parkour ??

  • @27pageboy local parkour innitiative. Or just go out and jump brah

  • @DiscoInfernoBooya lol how bout training

  • @27pageboy I was thinking that lol but look at him, he's slapping himself and being waaaaaay cautious :L when i started training i was just told to fuck myself around the shop till i did something right. No fear etc etc

  • well least you arnt stabing anyone :)

  • Awesome video :D

  • 00:6 do i see damien? and 4:07

  • 00:6 do i see damien?

  • @miniman123451 Damien who?

  • @Obsidian1138 damien walters youtube him

  • @miniman123451 I know who he is, but that's certainly not him in this video ;)

  • @miniman123451 FAIL !

  • @XxichisamaxX awwwwwwwwwwww

  • you guys have amazing upper body training in this video. very efficient.

  • There are way too many moments in this video where I hear myself remarking "Okay now that's just F-King crazy."

  • 4:12 , Ghost free-runner?

  • Manchester England England! Across the Atlantic sea! And I'm a genius genius! I believe...

  • cool hi im only parkour practitioner in small county Nepal can u give me some suggestions

  • Where is this?

  • @xpredatorcityx Manchester, England

  • SHIT!! I'm infected, now i wanna start Parkour....Thanks.

  • You guys seem to draw quite a crowd wherever you train.

  • @narutardtedr well its not like there are any empty cities for them to practice in...

  • Wfpf released the KOs recently and I got a pair. They are fairly cheap light and flexible. The grip is good and they seem pretty durable.

  • I think freerunning and parkour are technically the same thing. It has become known that Parkour is strictly running and freerunning is strictly flips. I honestly think flips are a totally different discipline. Both David Belle and Sebastian Foucan set out with the same goal, to be able to move more efficiently. The only difference is that David focused more on Objective and Sebastian more on Creativity. Nonetheless, we should not consider parkour running and freerunning flipping.

  • One question, are you guys wearing knee protection?

  • i have the airakes as well and they are okay. my next shoes will be the 5.10 freerunners. i heard they are great

  • i HAVE NO WHERE TO EVEN PRACTICE PARKOR ANY PLACE TO GO thats all around the world

  • Holy Shit, Scott's muscleup.......

  • ok time to go out side and do stuff

  • cool

  • have you ever tried the nike zooms obsidian1138

  • "Even I don't know the reason to that." that was priceless!

  • can you imagine these in an on-foot police chase

  • I suggest these guys become special operations in the military, like ninjas :D

  • CRAZY. and id think ud have more views

  • hey anyone got any conditioning tips for parkour?

  • the UK was made for parkour

  • 1:34 or parkour

  • 1:24 are they k-swiss ariakes? are the ariakes any good. could you recommend a good gripped shoe please coz ive only just started parkour and i cant find a good shoe. thanks

  • i was wondering if the nike dart 8 running shoes are any good to start parkour?

  • did anyone book that man running away at 00:24

  • @snakeboy500 lol

  • Parkour videos are too distracting, I spent all day watching them when I could have been training.

  • nice moves!

haha you almost catch me at 3:28

  • very nice man. Got a sense of humor and your good at parkour. Nice tracking skills by the way

  • @silentk1987 This is parkour, not freerunning.

  • @Obsidian1138 FUCKING THANK YOU

  • Comment removed

  • @silentk1987 And btw, looks like you have zero knowledge about this. Please educate yourself before criticizing, no offense.

Parkour is about efficient movement. Showing off or doing it just for the sake of style is not the motive here. So what he's doing is definitely not pretentious.

  • @Obsidian1138

No offense, but I thought they were the same?

  • @Obsidian1138 Decomposing corpses of children perceived by Stan Urine, as he enters the Standpipe and remembers the tale of the kids who drowned in the water pipe

  • @Goblinjimmscave What on earth are you talking about?

  • @Obsidian1138 I read a book.....spooooky

  • @Obsidian1138 I read a book.....spooooky book

  • @Obsidian1138 hey what's the difference between parkour and freerunning? i'm new at all this

  • @Obsidian1138 whats the difference?

  • @xphilipwheelerx Alright, so, picture Parkour and Freerunning being similar in this way: They use the same type of 'equipment' and same kind of 'playing field,' much like figure skating and speed skating have the same equipment and playing field (ice skates and ice) but however, they are very different sports. Speed skating and Parkour are about, well, speed, yet, they are graceful and an art. Figure skating and Freerunning however are about enjoyment, tricks, and flexibility.

  • @Tmanowns Thanks, dnt completely understand but guna watch videos for both and compare. cheers

  • @silentk1987 Flips are dumb and uncreative. Plain rotation, nothing else.

  • at 3:48 i was like hooohohohohohooooooo damnn

  • i love these vids where there's a wide variety of levels =]

  • nike darts rock me have pair

  • lol i bet they can lose a cop chasing them in seconds.

  • that film is fucking amazing

  • at first when i saw tall i said i can do that and then later u turned it up and i said damn nvr mind

  • they have good grip do they

  • @Goblinjimmscave The Nike Darts, or the K Swiss? The K Swiss have great grip on dry, clean surfaces, but soon loose it if it's wet or dusty. The Nikes probably have less maximum grip, but are much more consistent in all conditions (does that make sense?!).

  • @Obsidian1138 which one would you recommend?

  • @daredgodfather Shoes? I personally like Nike Darts. At the moment though, I'm using Asics Patriot 2's, and they seem pretty good.

  • @Obsidian1138 I have some shoes that are messed up and i have a jam coming up. Just wear them?
