A human is born with desires and lust, like greed. Kids hit each other and steal toys from others - because they follow their desires. That is why we have to teach them about being pure of heart and mind. Kids doesnt know better, thus they need to find redemption through the ways of Jesus.
Jesus was sacrificed to set the ultimate example for humankind. To show us, that humankind are willing to sacrifice and torture even the purest, while thinking they're doing good. Even people of different belief will go to heaven, because God loves all. We know that, because Jesus loved all. Sin and salvation goes beyond belief - but Jesus is the clearest path :)

Jesus did not say you should worship God all the time, Jesus said "Love your next". If you live life with a love for everything God created, God will be merciful. Aisha (Hadith sources even say she was allowed to bring her dolls [Book 008, Number 3311] to her 53 year old husbands house because being an infant she didnt have to follow the Islamic prohibition on dolls), and he had the right to sexually molest her [Bukhari 6:298]but not penetrate her until she got her first period which the Hadith sources say was between the ages of 8 and 9 years old
