  • the finaaaaal contaaaaaaacte !!

  • nice video to

  • nice bows

  • k what is the point of having a compound crossbow? plz let me know! lol

  • Came for the crossbows, stayed for the music.

  • gay

  • ea alta musica jjaja

  • wow

  • Anyone know the name/maker of the crossbow at # 3:31?

  • @xibowhunter excalibur crossbow

  • I've heard that secret service has some super powerful cross bows of 300 pound pull or more that can shoot through a car and out the other side---they use them for secretive assassination work--much like a sniper does----Maybe true or maybe not--but I do believe it's very possible----this gov has many secretive operations in practice all the time

  • I've heard that secret service has crossbows of 300 pound pull that can shoot all way through a car from door to door and aroow will go all way through some folks sitting in the car like nothing to it-----Don't know if it's true but I've heard this????

  • doesn't this video make you want to buy a crossbow???? damn.. to bad im a longbow fan.

  • You've wached too much REMBO :D LOL

  • srsly man bad choice of music

  • if you want to kill some one use a bow or cross bow siclent and deadly guns are to loud lol

  • The only thing you've ever killed is the English language

  • Nice weapons. All times most elegant guns.

  • depuis cand que larmé utilise des arbalète

  • Comment removed

  • What an complete load of crap.

  • Kill you in one shot.

  • You've never actually shot a rifle OR a crossbow, have you?

  • long bows take a hell of alot of strength to pull, so unless you have trained half your life to fire the long bow you wont be able to fire as quick as the cross bow... or are you an English long bowman from the 12 century

  • How to you cock one of these cross bows? I see some have some type of manual hand crank, the one that was lent to me doesn't. It looks like you are supposed to step on the front end steel ring that pull up with your hands - but doesn't seem to pull far

  • you can get off way more shots with a longbow, just throwing that out there

  • much more with a chinese repeating crossbow just not too powerful...

  • don't say that because the crossbows can do more damage than a bows but also the fire rate is slower !

  • cipa

  • lol seals use crossbows butn they use specail semi auto cbows

  • amazing

  • 100% cool video!!

  • I will take one because I want to kill neightbor´s dog. All the mornigs it go to my garden to make shit. I hate that.

  • Who ever thinks guns are better then crossbows your wrong. Crossbows are much better. Better accuracy. Just as much power. Cheaper. And look so cool

  • Crossbows over guns: Much less noise No muzzle flash or smoke No empty casings to spot where you've been Bolts can be re-used Little to no recoil No need for maintenance = no misfires Guns over crossbows: Faster rate of fire (for semi/automatic) Better accuracy and longer range Much more penetrating power Less "bullet drop" than a crossbow Easier to find ammunition A lot more intimidating
  • Bullshit

  • And they are silent.

  • Brother you have obviously never been shot at LOL

  • A variedade de modelos foi incrível, parabéns pela iniciativa.

  • Good points, except I always think the crossbow has an intimidation factor that's hard to top.

Re rate of fire I'd include bolt, pump, level action... almost any gun will fire faster than a crossbow.

  • take hem down !

  • nice music? :S

  • u know the song name ?? tell me the name ov it of u know plzzzzzzz it's amazing T_T

  • Europe - The Final Countdown

  • by the way it's (it's final countdown) the song name

  • what a crossbow freak

  • music??

  • the final countdown by europe

  • it's the final count down

  • Yes! Final Count down - Europe

  • zeker mooi ding ik ga zeker een kopen waneer ik poen heb :P surely nice thing i will get a crossbow when have the money ^^

  • how about aplasma gun, with a silencer, and a nanosuit to be as salt to the steak.how about that huhuhuhuh!!

  • if we go in the army case.you can still get an m9 with a silencer.or any other weapon, and a crossbow is far heavier than a pistol..

  • Yeah.. But a crossbow's cooler

    =D

  • imagine a 999999999999999999999 lbs crossbow in yer hands and has a scope like a Barret and when yu cock it it feels like 5 lbs and the range is 10miles = the perfect crossbow :D

  • but u can sharpen stick to make bolts if u run out of ammo....in some armys theyarm the soldiers with black widows (slingshots) they can be very leathal

  • heh, life isnt rambo dude, sharpen sticks, pfft? when wil lyou find the tiem to do that with bombs and bullets passin o'er yer head

  • i liek crossbows, really,but why use a crossbow when u can have a 50 cal berett that has a mag ?

  • Takes more skill to shoot a crossbow, that and they don't make a loud and distinct BOOM when fired.

Special Forces around the world still use them.

  • Well said, the Chinese army also use them.

One of their reasons being being able to disable / kill suicide bombers without triggering the explosives. :)

    5*

  • Why do some crossbows have wheels and multiple strings? such as in the crossbow in 1:46 of this vid.

  • I think it so u can pull the string more easy, just like in some bows (i thought composite). In the composite bows they are used to when u pulled the string back it wont be that hard to hold... So i think the wheels on the crossbows have something to do with that...

  • y still those weapons are used? they r totally primitive. large in size, short in range, very dependent up on environment...

    #1 firearms!!!!

  • they are used for hunting since they are extremely silent. and i guess its sort of a tradition-thing...

  • but in slight show are not like hunter, they are uniformed like special forces. for silence they can use suppressed assassination weapons. some traditions must be abandoned. still " #1 " for fire amrs :) (perhaps just for sport)

  • because they're silent and more reliable

  • Hahaha, why are a lot of things still used? If we had electric cars and other stuff why do we still use gasoline?

Crossbows kick ass. Guns do too. That's why I use both. And besides...hunting with a rifle is too easy nowadays!

  • this guys in love with crossbows..only one for me .. the barnett predator

  • Where there are no guns there are crossbows.

  • That....music.....makes...me....want....to.... shoot my f**kin speakers with my Barnett Wildcat C5.

That song was shit, even back in 1986. And lets just say it hasn't aged like a fine wine....

  • mad stuff dude

  • can u pull a crossbow back with ur hands or do u have to crank it back?

  • crossbows are close to silent

  • other than fishing, what are the pros to using a crossbow, rather than a rifle?

  • can cause more damage to flesh, like if you shot a deer in the heart with the right crossbow bolt, it would cause more rips and tears in the heart, meaning the deer would bleed out faster than if you put a .22 round through it's heart. Also a lot quieter than a bullet. ammo can also be reused.

  • nice point

another point is maintnance is easier than a rifle and it can take alot more abuse

a lil mud will not hurt it

  • why would you use a .22 for big game anyway? If you use ammunition thats actually legal for deer hunting(like a .243), the mushrooming of the bullet will do considerably more damage than a broad head.

  • yeah probably, depending how deep it goes, but crossbows are also silent etc. I guess it comes down to personal choice.

  • whats the name of that music ?

  • the final countdown by europe

  • this bows r used as special weapons by special squads and i think their still using it in one of the contrys. they asign this weapons to their special squads cos its stealthy and deadly

  • They Used to use them in china instead of pistols. i think the indian army still use them as sidearms...but i ain't sure.

  • Yeh what is the name of that song???

  • europe - final countdown

  • Whats the name of this amazing song guys???

  • Final countdown by Europe

  • is the circle in front of it to carry it ?

  • to load it, u hold it so its aiming at the floor, put ur foot in the loop and use it as a stay while you pull the bow string back to load it.

  • they where sum smartasses back in that time lol

  • lol 4 sure :)

  • thank g0d i didnt live in those times but i know kung fu !

  • that's because they can penetrate body armor ;P

  • can you give me a reference to that though i think its more than possible

  • Barrett Rhino Compound is a good x-bow for the money, but broadhead arrows are illegal here in the uk

  • it would bounce off of my steel abs....

  • are you ready for 2012 i am !

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • hasta la victoria siempre

  • good video

  • I like this video, the only thing missing is a picture of Chewbacca from starwars, with his lazer crossbow.

  • Chewbacca's bowcaster fires explosive bolts, not lazers. Jesus!!! lol

  • it is quite an understandible mistake though. the wookie bowcaster coats the slugs in energy using an x-citer and some tabina gas. this gets the best of both worlds. the armor peircing power of the bolt with the energy of the excited plasma. plus, some wookie bowcasters have blasters built in (including chewie's legendary bowcaster before the moon crushing) such as a stripped down E11. this allows precision accuracy

  • You know, its sad that I know everything your talking about...

  • Some people are crossbow freaks, like constructors of these models. The song title is "The Final Countdown", and the band is: Europe

  • song?

  • nice crossbows good music and video..5*

  • good video!
