@jameyinegypt Yeah...I love the Manics...I think The Holy Bible might be my fave album of all-time. I love them all. I'm probably influenced by Ian Dury more than anyone else, I guess.

@jameyinegypt Funnily enough...I see exactly what you mean. It's not a great vocal at all. I'm not too bothered though...cos it's just a moment in time...and all art sucks anyway. As Morrissey would say...if you don't like me, don't look at me. Thanks anyway. I just found out that another band have covered this song...and I listened to it..and their vocal is actually pretty fkn awesome. So...there you go...someone covers my song and they do a better job of it. Isn't it rich?

I don't think the singings bad, just wasn't what I was expecting. :) it's better then some singers you hear on YouTube!

I do actually really like the song though it's like, y'know that song Richey is dead by Ideal? It's like the counter part to that (If that makes sense) I could imagine it being like that. :)

This is all part of an album in the making called Dead Pop Stars with tracks for people such as Ian Dury, Kurt Cobain, Syd Barrett, Elvis Presley, Ian Curtis etc....and the Richey song is included as a challenge...to see if people really do think he is dead???
