  • Uhhh, lob the ball to the wide-right receiver - The safety with the over the top zone was at the line. TD all day. Never show blitz in a cover-2, unless they have no receivers on the right side.

  • RB was open.

  • omg i just remembered how bad the graphics are!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!!

  • cover 2 is the worst defensive play to call in madden

  • it has its strengths if you can get pressure, and there are alot of different looks you can get out of cover 2 man under. If you give anybody time they will shred the cover 2 if they are good,

  • comment me back

i cant watch this video W0

  • this video was good

    great vid Z1

  • hmmmn man to man with 1 high (fast safety) and the SS guarding the RB, while u guard the TE manually with a LB, and if he stays back to block, more coverage for you...

  • Good thing Madden sucks at being a realistic football game (atleast in 08, still haven't gotten to play 09) because that Running back would be cutting that blitzing backer.

  • you don't know what the hell you are talking about you pathetic loser. GROW UP TERD!

  • best bet would be drop the safeties and pinch the LBs. same result, and the fabled fade that i keep reading about would be contained or shut down.

  • I keep hearing gamers say to crash the defensive line down. What do you press exactly to do that for the PS3?

  • with L1, you have the available audibles for the D-Line. With the left stick you move them, and with the right stick you choose where do you want them to go after the snap. I hope you get 'cause I'm not going to describe you what every movement does, lol.

  • stop talking so much -.-

  • Honestly this is not a very sound strategy. He's using it against an offense where the back isn't staying home to give it max ability to make a play look good of course. anytime you see an 8 in the box you're going to keep atleast one back home. And there's a second big no no. you never bring your safety in the box when in a 2-5 coverage (if it's 2man ok). A one step fade will beat it 95% of the time.

Does 360 not have the ability to slide protect?

  • Or what would actually be better if you still want to run the fake blitz shift is to playmaker the safeties' deep zones to the left side, playmaker the LOLB to a flat or purple zone, then manually take control of the LCB or put him in a deep zone. Basically a Cover3 that has better deep zone support.

  • Also instead of calling a fake blitz shift, why not just pinch the Linebackers or manually move that blitz RILB into the A-Gap. Then you still have your SS back deep. Pretty dumb to call this shift if your playing 2Deep. A fade route to the B WR would burn this defence because that SS is up on the LOS.

  • This is too hit n miss. I would rather playmaker all my Linebackers to blitz, then either control one of the ILBs to watch the middle or put him in a hook zone. You need instant pressure when you run Cover2 zones in madden. It's too easy to block this blitz.

  • shit wont work online...a was open, someones decent will throw to him

  • a was not open at all.....if he would have thrown to a it would have been knocked down or more likely picked off.....defenders in madden break on the ball to quick to sneak the pass in that window

  • its easy to beat when you know wat their running but if you dont then you get nervous when you see dat blitz coming sometimes creating turnovers

  • Simple pass into the flat will beat this cause the CB's will all be 10 yards off. Or just roll to your right and have you're #1 WR run a post. Its retarded to have you're Strong Safety this close to the line on this type of play.

  • Actually a pass to the flat will most likely end up a pick or a tackle for loss against this D. The corner's gonna play the flat in a 2 zone so your best bet is a fade or go route. A post is ok, but the your qb will have to put some air under the ball to get it over the SS who'll be retreating back to his zone and giving it air on the post will give the FS time to recover and help out on the pass.

  • in a regular cover 2 yes, but a cover two sink the flat is a good idea. a fade or a go would be more difficult cause the corner is dropping back 10 yards not staying by the line, which would give the safeties time to get to the sideline. nice try tho

  • Actually safeties don't stand a chance accordiing to how he alligned them in the vid. The safety would have to have 99 spd to have a chance and there isn't a safety out there fast enough.

The corder is gonna drop no more than five yards, and won't leave his backpeddle, leaving the deep ouside routes wide open.

All it takes is 3 step and let her rip. The only diff between sink and norm 2 is corners will drop 5 instead of sitting in the flat. they still can easily make a break on the flat

  • how do you crash down?

  • on xbox 360- LB then down on left anolog stick

  • Edit: sorry not the left anolog. i ment the right one

  • this is the 360...

  • is this for PS2 only...because i tryed it on 360 and it didnt work, the linebacker would always go to the B gap...i adjusted it by sending the linebackers to the right and not showing blitz and it had decent results
