dude, it all depends on what you are comfertable doing. i would wait until u can recover your heli, no matter what direction it is pointing at. meaning tail in, tail left, tail out, and tail right. try to practice hovering and slowly rotating your tail in any direction and try to keep it in one place. if you can do that, i recomend. flying forwards about 10-20ft. stopping, then flying backwords twords you. after you feel comfertable, fly in a pattern.

all you have to do is, but the esky B/L 3900 kv brushless and the esky 25amp esc. put them in and your done. BTW i an useing a 10t pinion. the motor drops right in, without any force onecesoevery. nothing else is upgraded. NOTHING

then continu hold the controle stick left or right, and when it get upsidedown, put the throtal stick all the way down. then flip it back over. if you recorde it, i can tell you what you would have done wrong if you crash.

when you think you are high enough, put it in idal up position. pull the stick left or right HARD, when it's sideways, put the throtal stick at mid point, this will give it nutral pitch.

if you are going to buy a motor, get the JGF 4400kv B/L, it will be better in the long run.

the stock TX, the left hand/right hand knob is for what? what is your setting for the left hand knob?

and the throttle trim, when i put the BL motor inside, cannot make the throttle trim to the middle as this will make the main motor start turning.

i had my honey bee king 2 for about 3 months, i started 3D at about 1 month in, and hard 3D 2 weeks after. my B/L now is almost dead. it's a good motor for hover and ff. but it's a little to weak for long term 3D. im going to get a 3800kv B/L or and align B/L for the hbk2.

no battery should bloat unless it's you 200th or so cycle, then you know it's comming.

i would send it back if it's new and request another one.

you have an extremely dangerous issue, you could be running then connections in reverse, but i STRONGLY suggest you DO NOT try no fix your lipo, you you cross connect them, it will explode, and i mean EXPLODE!!
