The original is just so much better (the Fleetwood Mac version). The Corrs recorded this for the 'Rumours' (Fleetwood Mac's most successful record selling over 33 million copies to date and is still the 5th biggest selling album of all time) tribute album. Not bad, but not a patch on the original. No one sings this song like Stevie Nicks does.

thunder can be heard from a great distance..so it may not be raining where you are but it does someplace else...hundreds of miles from where you are.

No you can't hear thunder at distance over 24km(15miles) but yeah technically it does happen outside rain too. But now I understand that "thunder" in this lovely song refers to an explosive or angry outburst or argument - perhaps even verbal abuse..Usually, thunderous and terrible arguments do not occur when everything is going well in a relationship..it only happens when one or both of the partners already has issues with stress, emotions, or some aspect of the relationship.
