long live trapeze...every time i play black cloud for my supposedly know it all friends they are silent and humble..the voice, the bass playing , the material...there is a very good reason why real musicians like the moody blues had this much more than a hard rock band on their label.
Has anybody got any idea if there is any original footage of trapeze live from early seventies? That would be so amazing to see! my dad must have seen them 20+ times in and around Birmingham U.K. back then and took me as a young boy to see them live in very early nineties, but can't find much footage from before that.
Nice, right up to the shitty improvised guitar solos.....WTF. The original solo wasn't good enough for these guys? Pinched harmonics and high trills have no place in a Trapeze song. Glenn is still in top form, though.
Not only am i pissed that i couldnt appreciate this man earlier in life. He is the most talented vocalist ive ever heard! goosebumps all over glen you are truly the best brother thankyou for being around all these years my friend.
if anyone wishes to see glenn live - he will be in st louis at the pagent theatre with black country communion in june and other cities i`m sure (2011)
Glenn Hughes is the most talent singer, bassplayer and songwriter ever existed. Trapeze albums Medusa and You Are The Music... We're Just The Band are epic rock'n'roll history. So good!!!!
I thank the Higher Power that Glenn got his life changed back 1991 at hospital after his heart almost stopped due to cocain abuse.
