Most of the music out of jp games are a fusion of some sort i would call this a Electronic/Samba Fusion. Some singers that sound like this, Monday Michiru, Sunny hilden, BIRD, Elmio, Chieko kimbara you can find them on itunes or youtube.

The genre is called game music and you wont find anything like this to be honest. If you want something similar sounding try London Electricity/Fantastic Plastic Machine/JPop in general has a more pop/dance sound to thier music that is probbably the closest considering this is a jp game. They listen to different music over there.

I love this theme, it's a good reuse of the Sunleth Waterscape music from FFXIII. I also like that the original theme plays at the south area of Sunleth Waterscape in this game :)

I am totally in love with the FFXIII-2 ost. This is so distinct from FXIII's ost, which was also amazing. I think it contrasts Lightning and Serah pretty well. XD

Songs like this are just absolutely perfect and refreshingly new in a series that more or less had the same basic genres of music for such a long time. Not to say I don't like the older games soundtracks - it's just nice having a completely new style for a change.

@TheAvidGamer91 ALthough i agree with it being good to have some experimentation with completely new styles, try experimenting with playing different tracks from FF6,7,8,9 instead of 13-2's bgm in some areas when playing through the game. You'll be surprised at how well some of it fits and the ambience it gives to playing the area.Whilst i like 13-2's soundtrack, i think its missing the variety in sound and more simple tracks the ps1 era had.
