That says it all right there, God has mercy on us we don't make mercyful to God.
God repeatedly mentions, I WILL , I WILL, because He is the one who does the work. We can give our entire lives and all our money and preach the word day in and out but that isn't going to grant us the least bit of a right relationship with God in regards to our eternal salvation with Him.
The world teaches a "do it yourself" gospel. Christ did not.
Confession is meant to be to God not man. Nowhere does God say we are to have a "middle man" to hear our prayers and relay them to God.

To all you brainwashed retards out there, Catholicism is a Christian denomination! In fact, The Roman Church is the oldest, largest and the original church of Christianity. The apostles were all Catholics. Buck up and face the fire that members of your religion are pedophiles. I'm sick of reformed Christians trying to outcast Catholicism like it's a weird cult when in reality it's the root and trunk of Christianity.
Wrong. Christianity is about Christ not about the docterine of men but about God's word the Bible.
The Roman Church is not the original church. Christ did not start the catholic church u noob. The original "church" were the followers of Christ, those who abide by the word of God are Christs' diciplies.

@Uaz31 No, your back peddling. God is the author of the bible and said that bats are fowls. And your explanation is that god and the holy men lacked scientific classification. No God is a jealous God over His elect. That is speaking of our false idols and coveting of His elect that He is jealous of because we are His.
God doesn't instruct His "followers" to kill people. It is God's law that brings justice not unlike a convicted murderer that is sentenced to death as the wages of sin is death. @Uaz31 You really are a zombie waiting to get picked up. I really wish that bullshit is true and all you morons would magically dissapear, the fact is, your batshit crazy and 2 years from now when nothing happened you still wont realize it. sad.
No, I am not a zombie I am a human. Picked up? Not sure what you mean there. Nothing magical about God, He doesn't do magic, magic has to do with the occult. God creates and it has nothing to do with magic. But yes His elect will be "caught up in the air" as mentioned in Revelation at the time of the "rapture" if thats what your referring to.
And that is very much going to happen on May 21, 2011. Its not a guess, this is what the Bible teaches, we can be very sure of it.
I suggest you read up on the subject before making accusations of that which you no nothing about.
Please read, "were almost there" or just the tracts posted on the familyradio website for furthering your education into the matter. There will be a great earthquake on May 21, 2011 in which all the graves will be opened and the dead will be exhumed as dung to cover the earth. That is a portriat of the ressurection of the unjust as they do not have eternal life in Christ.
And yes it iscapital punishment God's righteousness demands perfect justice. The wages of sin is death and God was estab His covenant with Israel. It is not saying we are to murder people or that God murdered anyone. It was a judgment on them which is the result of violating the commandments of God.
By spiritual deity I suppose your referring to God. Yes the Roman Catholic Church was not the original church, Christ and His diciples were the church not the Pharisees or the Temple.
The church was around long before Roman Cathosism came around. All they did was make the faith a heresy like Islam. Islam and Catholisism are very much the same, both are derived from Christianity but both are also heretics.
As the Leader of the Vatican Corporation and Laity, the Pope is bound by Scripture not canon law. Per Christ in their bible, the Latin Vulgate, Book of Matthew, Ch. 18, V. 6 "But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea." The viles priests of the Roman Catholic Church and it's affiliates have scandalized MILLIONS of LITTLE BOYS AND GIRLS.
What evidence do you have that there is no God? God is something that can be neither proven nor disproven. I'm not forcing anyone to believe in God. But don't force me not to believe in God.
I was raised Catholic. Organized religion is a business in my view. I believe in God, Jesus Christ and that Jesus was married. I don't buy into the whole "Church" organization thing.
I don't think you have to go to Church and be a "good Christian" to be a good person.
@hogger129 You don't have to disprove the existence of any spiritual entity. That list could be endless. The burden of proof is on you to prove it does exist. And nothing spiritual has ever been proven that's why it's still based on faith and not on fact. And we all know that wishing something is true doesn't make it more likely. And you don't need Christianity to be a good person. We don't get our morals from religion. Religion stole our good morals and claimed it as an authority.
FACT! 3% of children that were sexually abused , were abused by priests. Thats 3% too many of course, but nobody seems to care about the 97% of other children!! Pedophilia is a sin and a crime and is totally contrary to catholic-christian teaching. The vast majority of priests are good and holy men.
The answer is NO, generally speaking they are not sent to jail for a few reasons. Chiefly among these reasons - Parents typically report these crimes to the church officials who then transfer the offenders to other districts (diocese) and make it appear to the parents that he has been punished. In fact he has a new selection of fresh young flesh to enjoy...

There was no sincerity in the issuance of this letter. Ratzinger slamed the Irish Church not for the pedophiliia but that it got caught. Ratzinger has been issuing letters since John Paul II was Pope. He was and is fully aware of everything within his vile and corrupt organization. A letter is just words on paper of which he could not even speak directly to the people by giving them eye contact but like a coward read from a piece of paper. The rat pope is questionably gay hates children and evil
15 years ago, I married a catholic. (I am not a believer). When we had kids, I had one - and only one - thing, that I put as a total no-go: My children should not, ever, be alone with a catholic priest.
My in-laws were scandalized, truly shocked, at the time. But this was my line in the sand.
Today, I am so happy, that I never exposed them to these people.
Oh - and btw - imagine that this had taken place in a secular organization - we would have had the cops swinging into action.
if your stupid enough to believe in any religion screw you, get molested,.....if you push your kids into a religion instead of letting them make up there own mind, you deserve to be dead in a ditch
youre protestant? where did the bible come from then? catholicism is the true religion, we can trace every priest and bishop from the first disciples and apostles, no other religion can. protestants have no way of explaining where the bible came from.
Im not mad at the pope hes human like everyone else. But the catholic faith i have a great deal of problems with. theres a Difference between catholics and Christians. Catholics claims to be christians but they dont show the love like christians are suppose to show. Alot of things catholics do is completely Wrong.
Um Um Um... which Christians are you refering to? The ones the bak up the KKK, the ones that try to excorcise GAY demons out of young boys? The ones the ones that judge everybody but themselves as going to hell? Yea no- I think Christianity, not just catholicism is under fire. Its triflin all of it, dont try to pass the blame to denomination
so, youve met every single catholic in the world and know their love? thats what youre saying? get real. "real" catholics and "real" christians love eachother, the "nonloving" "catholics" youve met arent catholic at all if they dont love others. i could say the same about protestant christians.
The fact that Catholics, for example, worship Mary on the same redemptive level as Christ Jesus is troublesome. The Bible clearly states that we are not to call anyone "Father" here on Earth and yet they call Priests "Father". Sin is to be confessed to Christ only through faith in prayer.
Not true, Catholics are a piece of Christianity. Same goes with Protestant, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, etc. What makes all these similar and under Christianity? We all believe that God sent Jesus Christ as Savior.
Not true. Christianity has to do with a relationship with Christ not a religion.
All churches are run by Satan and not by God. Jesus Himself condemned religion! He chased the scum out of the temple, He called them dead men.
When you see the abomination of desosolation stand in the holy place (church) flee to the mountain(Christ). Come out of the churches! RUN! They are under condemnation, God is brining judgment on them.
Then why start one in the first place? Acts 2:1-41
The men whom He chased away were not the priests, but the merchants who were profiting inside the synagogue. He said that the place to worship God not a marketplace to make money.
They turned it into a marketplace for whoredom. Yes they were priests! Pharasees and Scribes! Those were the preists of that day. They were the ones who were the leaders of the church then.
Merchandising has to do with bringing the word of God in the Bible also. But they were bringing a corrupted word.
Its a portrait of judgment on the churches of our day as well. The churches follow their own church docterines not the bible, yet they want to be called by God's name.
@Uaz31 Have you been there with Jesus back in 2000 years ago? How would you know those men He chased out were priests. I would understand the Pharisees and the Sanhedrins(Damn Hypocrites), but they were no priests! They were like enforcers, or police of the Ten Commandments, but they themselves never followed them exactly.
Tell me something; How should a Christian should act?
The Pharisees and Scribes were the leaders of the "church" then and anything done on the temple ground could have only of been authorized by them. Yes they were the priests of Jesus day. The pope and cardinals would have fit in with them perfectly.
Should act about what? The Bible is the law book we are to abide by not men.
No They were not the Catholic Church, they were not like the Pope, Cardinals, Bishops and Priests. Pharisees (Thank God they are not around anymore) Tells you what to do in order to receive salvation. But the Priests and Bishops taught us that salvation had came when Jesus had been resurrected from the dead, and it is our choice on which whether we want it as individuals or not. How? By not standing with your feet planted to the ground and do nothing, and help others in dire need.
Sorry Ghost your wrong. Pharisees are still around they just go by a different identity now. The Catholic church is a perfect example of exactly how they Pharisees were. They do not know God nor do they want to.. they teach the docterine of men and not of God.
There is no heirachy of sainthood... the vatican does not decide who is a saint or what is truth and what is not. THE BIBLE DOES and the BIBLE ONLY. They put themselves above God teaching the commandments of men.
Also salvation is not something you can earn or choose to have.
The whole purpose of the Sabbath was pointing to the fact that works cannot get you saved. Thats why the man who picked up sticks on the Sabbath was stoned to death. Salvation is entirely a work of God, you cannot "choose" it. God saves His elect not men.
@Uaz31 So you are a Calvinist? The believers of Pre-Destination?
If the priests are teaching what they want, then why teach about helping others instead of themselves? Why teach the life of Jesus instead of making themselves as the heroes sent by God? Why do they put up with sacraments and services that meant for others instead of letting others do it for them? I work close to priests who put emphasis and effort on prayers for souls, conversions, and reconciliation.
No Im a Bibilist, yes the Bible only teaches pre-destination, its very clear on that.
You can teach about Jesus but not have the right message. Praying to saints is a abomination, virgin mary is not a God and he is not the mother of God. She was a woman and she was a sinner. We are to pray to God and God only.
Catholic church also added in books to the Bible that are not God's word. Satan also comes as a angel of light. Where is the sacraments ect mentioned in theBible
Give me the verses that gives evidence that it shows how our salvation is predestined. And the Bible is not the teacher, Jesus is. Yes, the 7 sacraments were mentioned in the Bible((although Matrimony was not made by Christ) Matrimony was made part of the 7 because it deals with creation of man and woman as mentioned in Genesis 2)
For starters, the Bible is loaded with references to us being "chosen" by God. Its not a valid arguement to say anything contrary to predestination but yet people like you do, the Bible does not teach otherwise.
The Bible is a earthy book with spiritual meaning. The old testiment were given a whole series of laws to look to the coming messiah as savior. Sacraments were ceremonial laws and are not to be observed anymore as we are under the new covenant mkd by Christ
How would you know that God has chosen you to play a certain role in life? You mean to tell me that even if you do good(donate, protect, and help others) in life, we could still go to hell? That certain number of us, chosen by God, deserve salvation more than others?
Well because of the evidence for salvation being a ongoing desire to do and know the will of God as set forth in His word the Bible. That His spirit wittnesses with ours that we are His elect by obedience to the law of God.
And Im not saying we can know who are God's elect but that the evidence for such is a broken and contrite heart and a willingness to do and know His will.
Ya, Im saying no works we do can grant us salvation. Jesus made a example of such with the man who picked up sticks on the Sabbath and was stoned to death for doing so. That was a portriat of how works cannot save us. It is entirely the work of God and the Sabbath was pointing to that. As one of the 10 commandments that is what it really is referring to. We cannot get to a right relationship with God by any work we do and faith is a work as the Bible mentions.
@Uaz31 The Good Thief was one of the thieves who were dying with Christ Himself. He was brought salvation by asking for forgiveness from God Himself, even though he thought he knew he was going to hell(as mentioned in Luke 23:42). I decided to point this out to let you know why I strongly believe salvation is for others if they are sincere about repenting their sins.
About the "you saying persistent prayers is pointless", sorry about that, I meant "pre-destinations makes praying pointless to do"
The Bible does not mention any "good thief" that is a term the catholic church has coined but it is not from the Bible. The two men aside Christ at the cross were both sinners not "good men" only God is good. Yes one went to be with the Lord, He was one of God's elect the other was not.
They were both hanging with Christ tho. I believe the man who did not go to be with the Lord represents the churches who are apostate and the man on His right was of the eternal church of God.
He might of thought he was going to Hell but all of God's elect are as lost sheep. But like the Bible says His elect hear His voice, that all that are His will come to Him. God does have to open our eyes and that is the "salvation moment" but truthfully we already had eternal life who are His. The point of the gospel is to let those who are seeking to know Him, it is the great comforter, His word and lets us know who God is. This is why the gospel had to go out, so He could be there for us.
@Uaz31 I thought God already opened some of our eyes, question is, do you want to see or not? The reason why don't believe in predestination because it is; believing that God had judged a soul before it could do to prove any purpose. I sort of understand God sending people to do His will, and convince others following them, but not how He chose the people before birth.
@Uaz31 Oh, when you mentioned "God's Elect", you mean "Communion of Saints"(Catholic's version of groups souls already in heaven). Still though, to me prayer is not enough.
Christ dying on the cross was a portrait of what He already did before the foundation of the world. Christ was the ultimate example of His sacrafice, His actual dying on the cross did not give anyone eternal life tho, that work was already done. It is simply a portrait of His great sacrafice that was already made.
Waiting on the Lord and being persistant applies to all people, when did I say it was pointless?
Nobody deserves salvation, like I said it is God's work, us being chosen before time
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," - Eph 1:3-5
"(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. ----
What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy."
@growingup15 : YOU ARE A BIGOT - do what your user name states & GROW UP. What a ridiculous statement to say that millions of Catholics across the globe 'dont show the love like christians are suppose to show'. You're an idiot
How dare he (Pope) single out the Irish bishops when it was the Vatican's policy to cover up abuse charges and allow sex offenders to continue their crimes? God wont be found in any churches anywhere. He is through with it.
"I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy"
That says it all right there, God has mercy on us we don't make mercyful to God.
God repeatedly mentions, I WILL , I WILL, because He is the one who does the work. We can give our entire lives and all our money and preach the word day in and out but that isn't going to grant us the least bit of a right relationship with God in regards to our eternal salvation with Him.

The church is not build on a apostle... Jesus is the "Rock" the "cornerstone" that he built the church on not a man.

Have a good day.

And yes it iscapital punishment God's righteousness demands perfect justice. The wages of sin is death and God was estab His covenant with Israel. It is not saying we are to murder people or that God murdered anyone. It was a judgment on them which is the result of violating the commandments of God.
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Somai82

There was no sincerity in the issuance of this letter. Ratzinger slamed the Irish Church not for the pedophiliia but that it got caught. Ratzinger has been issuing letters since John Paul II was Pope. He was and is fully aware of everything within his vile and corrupt organization. A letter is just words on paper of which he could not even speak directly to the people by giving them eye contact but like a coward read from a piece of paper. lacek2700 1 year ago

Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
@Ghostwarrior213
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31
Then why start one in the first place? Acts 2:1-41
The men whom He chased away were not the priests, but the merchants who were profiting inside the synagogue. He said that the place to worship God not a marketplace to make money.
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
@Ghostwarrior213
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31 Have you been there with Jesus back in 2000 years ago? How would you know those men He chased out were priests. I would understand the Pharisees and the Sanhedrins(Damn Hypocrites), but they were no priests! They were like enforcers, or police of the Ten Commandments, but they themselves never followed them exactly.
Tell me something; How should a Christian should act?
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
@Ghostwarrior213
Uaz31 1 year ago
No They were not the Catholic Church, they were not like the Pope, Cardinals, Bishops and Priests. Pharisees (Thank God they are not around anymore) Tells you what to do in order to receive salvation. But the Priests and Bishops taught us that salvation had came when Jesus had been resurrected from the dead, and it is our choice on which whether we want it as individuals or not. How? By not standing with your feet planted to the ground and do nothing, and help others in dire need.
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
@Ghostwarrior213
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Ghostwarrior213
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31 So you are a Calvinist? The believers of Pre-Destination?
If the priests are teaching what they want, then why teach about helping others instead of themselves? Why teach the life of Jesus instead of making themselves as the heroes sent by God? Why do they put up with sacraments and services that meant for others instead of letting others do it for them? I work close to priests who put emphasis and effort on prayers for souls, conversions, and reconciliation.
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
@Ghostwarrior213
Uaz31 1 year ago
Give me the verses that gives evidence that it shows how our salvation is predestined. And the Bible is not the teacher, Jesus is. Yes, the 7 sacraments were mentioned in the Bible((although Matrimony was not made by Christ) Matrimony was made part of the 7 because it deals with creation of man and woman as mentioned in Genesis 2)
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
Eph 1:3-5
Rom 9:11-16
For starters, the Bible is loaded with references to us being "chosen" by God. Its not a valid arguement to say anything contrary to predestination but yet people like you do, the Bible does not teach otherwise.
The Bible is a earthy book with spiritual meaning. The old testiment were given a whole series of laws to look to the coming messiah as savior. Sacraments were ceremonial laws and are not to be observed anymore as we are under the new covenant mkd by Christ
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31
How would you know that God has chosen you to play a certain role in life? You mean to tell me that even if you do good(donate, protect, and help others) in life, we could still go to hell? That certain number of us, chosen by God, deserve salvation more than others?
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
Well because of the evidence for salvation being a ongoing desire to do and know the will of God as set forth in His word the Bible. That His spirit wittnesses with ours that we are His elect by obedience to the law of God.
And Im not saying we can know who are God's elect but that the evidence for such is a broken and contrite heart and a willingness to do and know His will.
Uaz31 1 year ago
Ya, Im saying no works we do can grant us salvation. Jesus made a example of such with the man who picked up sticks on the Sabbath and was stoned to death for doing so. That was a portriat of how works cannot save us. It is entirely the work of God and the Sabbath was pointing to that. As one of the 10 commandments that is what it really is referring to. We cannot get to a right relationship with God by any work we do and faith is a work as the Bible mentions.
Nobody deserves it is Gods will
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31 Have you ever heard of "The Good Thief"?
If salvation wasn't meant for all of us, then:
1. why bother send a Messiah to rid the world of sin by dying on the cross?
2. Why did He teach several parables about being prepared and be persistent with prayers when you say it is pointless?
3. Why did He teach us the Beatitudes and about being conscious about others?
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
No such thing as a "good thief" . All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Im not saying God's elect are perfect, only God is perfect.
Im sayin that just like there are weeds and tares sheeps and goats so are their God's elect and those who are not His people.
Those who are not God's elect don't really want Him anyhow thats why they don't come to Him. They want their own kind of salvation.
Its still a great blessing whether or not God's elect to follow the law to extent tho
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31 The Good Thief was one of the thieves who were dying with Christ Himself. He was brought salvation by asking for forgiveness from God Himself, even though he thought he knew he was going to hell(as mentioned in Luke 23:42). I decided to point this out to let you know why I strongly believe salvation is for others if they are sincere about repenting their sins.
About the "you saying persistent prayers is pointless", sorry about that, I meant "pre-destinations makes praying pointless to do"
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
The Bible does not mention any "good thief" that is a term the catholic church has coined but it is not from the Bible. The two men aside Christ at the cross were both sinners not "good men" only God is good. Yes one went to be with the Lord, He was one of God's elect the other was not.
They were both hanging with Christ tho. I believe the man who did not go to be with the Lord represents the churches who are apostate and the man on His right was of the eternal church of God.
Uaz31 1 year ago
He might of thought he was going to Hell but all of God's elect are as lost sheep. But like the Bible says His elect hear His voice, that all that are His will come to Him. God does have to open our eyes and that is the "salvation moment" but truthfully we already had eternal life who are His. The point of the gospel is to let those who are seeking to know Him, it is the great comforter, His word and lets us know who God is. This is why the gospel had to go out, so He could be there for us.
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31 I thought God already opened some of our eyes, question is, do you want to see or not? The reason why don't believe in predestination because it is; believing that God had judged a soul before it could do to prove any purpose. I sort of understand God sending people to do His will, and convince others following them, but not how He chose the people before birth.
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
Prayer is something we are to do constantly every thought should be a prayer. The church has made it into a ritualistic ceromony tho.
I don't see how predestination would make prayer pointless. We are to beckon and cry out to God for His mercy that we might too be one of God's elect.
Uaz31 1 year ago
@Uaz31 Oh, when you mentioned "God's Elect", you mean "Communion of Saints"(Catholic's version of groups souls already in heaven). Still though, to me prayer is not enough.
Ghostwarrior213 1 year ago
Christ dying on the cross was a portrait of what He already did before the foundation of the world. Christ was the ultimate example of His sacrafice, His actual dying on the cross did not give anyone eternal life tho, that work was already done. It is simply a portrait of His great sacrafice that was already made.
Waiting on the Lord and being persistant applies to all people, when did I say it was pointless?
Uaz31 1 year ago
God shows His love for the whole world but He does not love everyone (Agape).
The gospel is for all mankind, but divine election is only for His elect.
"Jacob I loved but Esau I hated." Yet He is merciful to all people. The rain and sun falls on the just and the unjust.

Uaz31 1 year ago
"according to the good pleasure of His will,"
Also,
"(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. ----
