@mariellerae9 No you will have to update to 5.50 GEN D3 to install prometheus or you can downgrade to 5.00 m33-6 and install prometheus for that CFW the method is the same....the only differecne is that you need a different prometheus file.

i did this, and now none of my psp games on my mem stick show up. everything else worls, emulaters, apps, ect, and new umd's work, but the games i ripped are not showing up. do i need to move them to a difrent folder?

@bure82 Well downgrade it to what u had last time. If that happens it means ur psp doesn't support the gen and that interferes with the battery

@TheDarkInvader07 it can ban you from the PSN Store so i wouldnt go on it , but you get to play iso even the new games that need 6.20 OFW to play. im running 5.00 M33-6 on psp 1003.

I have a problem, everyrtime I load the 5.50 Prometheus (or any game for that matter) my psp freezes on the "PSP Playsation Portable" white screen then shuts off after about 20 seconds.

What's going on? I'm running 5.50 Gen D-3 and just started getting this problem recently after install the KHBBS patch (which i did remove after the fuck up).

Any help?

@SeannForever Try disabling all your plugins. some plugins do not go well with Pro

just reactivate each plugin one at a time to find out what which plug in is causing the problem. Hope it helps

@Mrvorace2010 i have no idea if someone have reply ur question. but 5.50 prometheus-4 is the best cfw out there. way better then 5.50 D3. it can play much more titles on prometheus-4 than D3. such as Metal Slug XX, Kingdom Heart and Persona 3 Portable wont get stuck.

@Pathfinder634 5.03 Prometheus should let you do that, though you need to be on 5.03, have ChickHEN / an alternative, and you need to have 5.03 GEN-C installed before you do install it.

So i have 5.50 Gen D, everything working just fine..i download ( to try of course) Metal gear, Naruto, and assasin's creed, mod nation racers..etc.the cso,iso's that supposed not to work or you have to patch them..i download fixed iso's of them..and all work no prob..

So should i upgrade my Gen D..to Prometheus if all them work? will it do anything to my PSP other than no need for patched games?? just wondering..cause i'm wanting to update it..

@gennaro494 Updating to Prometheus won't cause any harm even if all the games already work, so yeah, it's okay to update. But if you do update, a lot of people are saying to do it while on GEN-D3 (I understand a few people are staying on GEN-D2 for reasons so yeah).

@xdaveXD 5.50 Prometheus lets you play ISO/CSOs of those games that require the 6.20 official firmware to run properly, without the need to patch them. Games like MGS: Peace Walker for example.
