i would never give my newborn baby to a babysitter this early...only if it was someone i knew really really well. my baby comes first...i could care less about anything else in my life
but ummm IMO you don't get pregnant because you have alot of friends around lol. Maybe in this case she didn't plan her pregnancy. What was she going to do? have an abortion? I plan on not leaving my child with a sitter but not everyone has that option, it's understandable. This girl I have seen her doing her best, and taking good care of her baby. Dude my sister asked me to pick up my niece for her last week from her baby sitter and I go there and shes like crying like CRAZY and all I heard from outside the womans house was her yelling "SHUT UP STOP CRYING!!!" and my niece is only 2 years old I just walked in, got her, and told her "you wont be hearing from us you have some nerve treating her like that if shes hungry then feed her thats what we pay you to do" and it was just a whole arguement.

This person can't be a licensed day care provider! I would not take her back, that is horrible! I am a licensed day care provider, and one parent tried to tell me that I changed their baby too often. I think they were being cheap! That is a form of neglect and if I did something like that I could be reported, and possibly lose my license! Like someone else said, you don't nkow what other ways yuor daughter maybe getting neglected.

I agree with springflowerchild. She might be neglecting of other needs for Aiva. Just talk to her like you said and if it happens again than find another sitter, but at the same time im like no Aiva shouldn't go back, because for one she's probably the reason she has diaper rash and if she's not changing her than that means she not getting any medication on her during the day, except for when you do it in the morning and after work/school. Does the sitter have alot of kids/babies to watch after?
I found myself getting really mad about the sitter thing. You have to do what you think is right, but it does make me think of what else the sitter might be neglecting.

Ive been watching your vids with my sister in law (Shes 23 and due 6th December) You really need to get a new babysitter seriously that is shocking!!! 8hours ..the little thing must of been really irritated.
