When I went to college in the early 90s I forgot all the 80s tunes I grew up with and embraced the Classics of the 1960s and 1970s. Only now can I look back and realize some of these 80s tunes, like this one, are true classics in their own right and have stood the test of time. I get a thrill when people half my age love and appreciate this stuff.

totally agree, like now its just mostly about band image rather than the music that is made. same with rock music, th i feel rock music was best in the 90s when it sounded raw and had all the energy of 70s punk with the musicianship of the 80s (without the cheese lol)...now its all these scene kids who are lame as fuck who just mince about in drainpipes producing over produced pop punk with screaming over it...its sad to see
