if u look at the plane from behind u will see that the left side of the rudder has less space to move use a kitchen knife or something to remove the excess foam.
Sometimes the rudder gets jammed on the tail that's why it occasionally does the spins. Apart from that try trimming it out using the trim tab in the remote.

Also weight the nose it will stop it 'porpoising' and make it go faster.

i had a rc heli but eventully realised i was a plane flyer, my rc heli broke,i want the air hogs nano hawk which is like this but with wheels
