this upcoming winter has me thinking about selling it for a 4x4. my stupid love for the car has me saying wait at least another winter. you should try "Portable Tow Truck" traction mats. they help out sometimes in snow, not sure how they'd do in ice though

@ubcs109 well it depends what kinda moter, the milage on the car and the all around condition of the body and drivetraine one thing to check u need to check is for rust under the floorboard. all in all if its in good condition its not a bad deal

I drove my 94 V6 camaro in the snow today. i live in eastern pa. I had no major issues, just drive carefully and slow. I've had my camaro for 2 years, drove through both winters and have yet to even get close to being stuck. Everybody keeps telling me to get a 4x4 and every time it snows I make home just fine. The snow on the road (unplowed) tonight was deeped then what you got stuck in. "driving through the snow in my beatup chevorlet. Down the roads we go, sliding all the way..."

I don't know what the problem is, I would assume you would have the common sense to equip your camaro with snow tires and put some weight in the back. I drove my '94 Mustang GT in the winter, did just fine. Snow tires + sand bags = problem solved.
