@thomasjackson46 the figure of the bass doesn't have much bearing on the sound projection. Though shoulders that squared off would be very hard to get around. Less comfortable for sure/
Waldir, I just came back from seeing/hearing you play at the Arizona Opera. OUTSTANDING work!!! I've never seen anyone play the bass with such passion. Are you performing anywhere else in Tucson? You were AWESOME.
Very, very nice. Is that the Zdzislaw Prochownik bow from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada? The bass you were lent at Indiana University ISB Convention looks wonderful and sounds great.
You sound amazing! I remember vividly hearing you duriing my student days at WMU. You were the first person I ever heard PLAY the bass! Wow. If you ever see Fernando, tell him Mike from WMU says hello!
So nice to see a bassist getting recognized :D

I've never seen a bass like that. Wouldn't you want more sloping shoulders for a better sound in the higher register?

Awesome playing. Is that a Heinrich Gill Panormo bass? I've got the same one!
