I'd run his ass off for not covering the carpet before he got started. He needs at least a bath mat to wipe his feet on before he walks on the carpet.
I use a cheap Harbor Freight air chisel with a flat chisel. I have done probably 20 plus kitchens this way. Works great, works fast and creates minimal mess for cleanup.
I dont think most of you get the point of this video. He is not showing you how to remove all the tiles with the drill, it is if you have one tile that you would like to remove, then use the drill so you dont damage the surrounding tiles.
This is good to get started, and I guess with different tile and glue it may be different...but a hammer and a pry-bar underneath would pop the entire tile up in my case...
Low price flooring.... means crap work that wont last lol

Never do this! Why put hole in the floor using a hammer drill when you can simply bust the tile up with a hammer or pry them up?

Pretty messy...why not just use the flat bit?
frankintx 11 months ago
What the hell? Just take a hammer and tap the tile a few times and you will get the same result !!!!
