@elechso What you need to do in order to have objects in your scene reflect objects that you put in the motion tracking is to model them. You need to model anything that you want to have reflections
Really great quality there.....need to know, what is that steady cam worth?
Not sure (for the video you showed) that you would need to go to the lengths of using the hemisphere technique....but could see how it could be useful when showing a real closeup of a reflective material. For your video, I would have just taken 4 shots with a still cam and stitched them together..
Gorf1234: It's easy to get rid of the plumber's pipe. I just painted it out in photoshop. It's important though, when you are setting up the shot, to make sure the pipe is not blocking anything really important.
Amazing! Impressive work

@elechso to get scene objects to reflect you can make them reflective and use the sphere map as a projection map as the texture

Great stuff! I would love to see your rig a little better... when you show the cam attached to the mirror... you can't really see it.
Thanks for the vid... great stuff!!!

Extremely clever HDR technique.. I personally just make a 360 degree panorama and then bring it in to Cinema 4D or sometimes maybe photoshop and Maya

Thanks, Henk. Did you need to do anything clever to get rid of the plumber's pipe and camera reflections?

Henk. If you ever give up illustration, you'll have a fine career in instructional videos. Very nice presentation and VERY cool result! Awesome job!
