Bob is still fun to watch here, however by his last 3-4 years (2004-07) on the show he became more & more miserable (IIRC, he would tell the audience on air to calm down or he would call security & have them removed, I swear he would have some audience members removed)

From 1972-2003 he was fun to watch, 2003-07 was when he became 3x more crankier & it showed.
