Never understood why they never made a tv series based off of Creepshow. Have an animated Creep introduce the stories and do short half hour segments every week.
I use to be shit scared of roaches after I saw this when I was a kid. I honestly thought they ate people. I know now that they don't (I even held a hissing cockroach one time) but I still dislike them
Did anyone else think that it was clever for them to have the cockroaches make that clicking sound whenever he was doing something that created noise, such as washing or making dinner, and when he hears the noise he stops and then it switches to the bleeping sound of his phone. I thought that was real writing genius, very creative. Seeing as Stephen King wrote these stories, i take that it was his idea and not Romero. Although i wouldn't be suprised as Romero is a genius himself.
This part of the movie is what gave me a lifelong awful,phobia of cockroaches.Great movie,one of the true eighties horror classics and I can watch it repeatedly.
Oh yes! Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Thing, The Fly, The Blob, Cat People, Invaders from Mars and The Hills Have Eyes are all excellent remakes. The Dawn of the Dead remake was good but overrated in my opinion. All of the others i don't really care that much for though. I'm not looking forward to the Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser remakes.
@dougcl79 I've heard those rumors myself, but don't take them very seriously. In fact, i just very recently heard that Romero and King were working on the script for the next sequel, which will be due out in 2011.
Nocturnal terror. So do I but he used a Prohet 600 for this because it had just been released at the time of production and he said he was looking for something fresher sounding. Still sounds like a Pro 5 though.
