@TotalMusicNet What you call "loosing power", I would call Changing from Mezzo timbre that she had in her early days with Nightwish, to a Soprano Timbre, that is less Dark but with more agility in higher resgisters - exemple, she never sung the staccato parts with Nightwish. The lower registers can be more forced now (the mezzo notes) but the higher register (soprano notes) is easy and natural now, a lot of songs show that. She matured into a Soprano, but you prefer the mezzo timbre, thats all!

That's my favorite Nightwwish song, and Tarja sings it perfectly nowdats! I am very happy she decided to sing it again.

"Nightwish's song crushed by Tarja" - not true. I like this version, it's really powerful and NEW. Not better than Nightwish's but also good. And you can't say that "All power of vocal lines is lost" because it's very bad version and vocal is almost inaudible

Actually, once I saw a video, here, on youtube, where Nightwish played this song, but just a part of it, the beginning. It's something seemed to "Dead boy's poem - Slaying The Dreamer" in a gig on Romania, one part of a song is the introduction to another one.

But the part where Tarja vocalizes was never seen in live with Nightwish.

I like this version as much as the original. We cannot thank Tarja enough for saving a bit of the original Nightwish spirit now that Nightwish itself has dedicated itself to pop metal...

I love this!! I love this song it deserves to be sung and it was made for her voice so why not? I love it!
