Hey so cool to see this on here, this is my moms band. She is now Ginny Luedeman and is a Chritian Science teacher and lecturer! I love this, I grew up with it!!! Thats my older brother who is now in his 40s on the back of the record! Thanks for posting it!
This is the first album I ever bought. I was probably six years old. I thought that hippies made the best music so, judging by this band's appearance, this must be the best album ever made. Boy, was I wrong.

This could have been one of the greatest songs of its era, possibly ever, if only the rhythm was more consistent and less drifting. It certainly could have beat a lot of early Pink Floyd and similar music of the time, but it seems the production wasn't really up to it. I take it the atmosphere in the studio that day was quite...er... relaxed? Either that or they hadn't practiced before the recording session.
The group I played for, Overbrook , played with these guys July 4 1967 at Russian River, (rio nido) California along with Moby Grape and Big Brother Holding Co. They were great, as was the whole show. $3 ticket back then!
i know Ginny shes now a christian science teacher..
