@slipknotlloyd123 Ok, cause i've been playing for 2 years and i'm looking for a new bass. However, I'm looking more towards the Tanglewood REB 4 MBK. Doesn't quite look as nice as the metal x bass though.
@Levo909 well the tanglewood would(wood! get it :) ) be better quality and the x-bass to be honest looks better in the picture than it does in real life, however the shape of the x-bass is cool, it sounds good, and is at least £50 cheaper. so really the i'd get the x-bass because even though it's worse quality it's not £50 less of a bass if you get what i mean. also it has a pretty long neck and i'm short so it's a bit awkward so if you are tall then get then for definate
@Levo909 im not sure if this bass is like gear4music's guitars but, i have a gear4music strat-style guitar that was in a bad way from a friend, i painted it all up and put some nice strings on. but one major let down is the electronics, they are very poor and have a very strange background buzz, so i took it apart, bought some copper tape and insulated the inside, bought some nice fender electronics and 3 alnico pickups. now it sounds great!!! i will upload a vid of it soon...
I've had this bass for almost a year now, took it to a luthier to sort out the bridge height etc, put some decent strings on it and it's sounds fairly good for the price.. Pickups need improving though and it's unbalanced as the headstock is far to heavy
Is it a beginner or intermediate bass?

@Levo909 well it's the first bass i've ever bought but someone who has been playing bass for a while would be just as happy with it.
