  • Onra- Send me your love

  • In the meantime, the best from Kashif... this is one complete romantic about distant love "send me your love" --send a letter, not email or text. WOW!

  • Love me some kashif....OMG! 1984 was a VERY good year for me and this song played a BIG part of it.

  • Love this song so much. A heavy hitter on my iPod.

  • i grew up with this. i have always liked his music:-)

  • Memories from Carswell AFB FT.WORTH TX 1983-85 NCO club.

  • This was actually 1982 not 1984.

  • Good music never ages-send ur love to whomever as much as u can!!

  • oooooh ......but u live so far away.

  • Grown folks music...lol.

  • You can call this a "Quiet Storm" classic.

  • Man! This old school jam makes want to go back to the days when music was music. Time flies fast. I went from 20 to 47yrs old real fast. I'm just glad i was born when i was, and had the chance to enjoy real music of that era. Thank you Sos Band, Gap Band, Cameo, Rick James, Isley's, Ojay's, Barkay's, Confunshun, Atlantic Starr, Midnight Starr, Teena Marie...ETC

  • @Oldskool1025 You named all those great bands***** But no surprise, thats your generation. But I really liked your comment. and youre so right about times coming and going so rapidly, I went to bed 2 weeks ago at 16 yrs old and I'm going on 29 almost in an eyes shutter. I realized that months ago and went WTF !!!!

But anyways, Keep Jammin them classics Oldskoool. And have a fun summer....

  • So sad the youth are lost on this groove. They have no clue. For one thing, they'd ask "what's a letter?".

  • @doyoubarnes LOL :D

  • @doyoubarnes LOL, now that is funny :-) I couldn't have said it better myself!!!!

  • when listen to onra song "send me your love" I had to find the real one nd there both great

  • Man I love this song, it bring back so many good memoiries.

  • Lillo Thomas' new CD is "Come and Get It". Let's support our NY artist.

  • Have this LP and bought it because of "Send Me Your Love," an extremely romantic and beautifully rendered heart-touching song.

  • Beautiful tune. So lush and smooth. Kashif was a true genius with the keyboards!

  • I have the original vinyls of Kashif's debut album and the Send Me Your Love Album. Notice I said vinyls not reissues or CD's. They are a little worn, but still classics.

  • Now i do like this :)

  • Serene and beautiful.Kashif is a genuis. The man got through me many things in the eighties.

  • Sampled in Onra's "Send Me Your Love"

  • did you know Lilo Thomas does a lot of back round for this great artist?

  • One of my favourite duets of the gr8 decade of the 80s!

  • i hadn't heard this song since the 90's. whle driving last night, kcep in vegas played it. i had to have it, but itunes didn't have it. this guy's style and voice was simply art. found it at amazon, but they want to much. though many of his songs are worth purchasing, and i do like paying for the artist's creations, but $30 is to much.

  • Kashif was very underrated!

Food 4 Thought: da name Kashif (itself) means revealer or discoverer in Arabic.

  • @SuperAV21 Hey Super it really hurt me when he and Kenny G went their separate ways after the 80's They were super hott together especially after doing "Love On The Rise"

  • How & y did it hurt u?

  • @SuperAV21 I thought they would last for quite a while they were on the rise as a top jazz duo of the 80's

  • the album's cover is very modern for its time. Those soul/funk covers of the 80s are truly awesome

  • hell naw

  • The music from this era brings back such great mem'ries, in addition to sounding so darn great, that it often makes me teary-eyed as well. I was living in Washington, D.C. when this came out and I remember playing this in the car as we went to parties on cold weekend nights. LOL. Such beautiful mem'ries.

  • I was born and raised in D.C. We sure did have some good music stations back in the day.

THANK YOU for posting this! Things like this (and of course others) are why the internet is the shhh--!!! LOL! Thanks again!!!

  • I remember listening to this song in the early 80s. Kashif is a great artist. I loved it back then, and I still love it more than 20 years later. Great music is great music. It is a timeless classic. Thanks for posting Kashif's music, it brings back so many memories.

  • Man, I still love this guy. I thought he and Stevie Wonder et al were so revolutionary with their synthesizer keyboard work back in the 80s. Time and a little research have proven me right. I remember him being on BET's Video Soul one Christmas Day back in the 80s. His synth work and band were simply outstanding. My, my. my, weren't those the days? Thanks for the vid!

  • Did he have a video for this song? I know he had videos for "Are You The Woman" and "Don't Break Your Baby's Heart" but obviously only New York Hot Tracks, BET and Friday Night Videos were playing Kashif's videos.

  • I can't remember a video for this one.

  • dear you tube i love you.how do you post a response

  • Well it seems u just did :p

or do want to use videorespone ?
