@zerker12568901 This music along with the rest will play at any epochs. However, as I have stated before, this music fits enough for the Atomic Age epochs (WW1, WW2, and Modern).
this reminds me of my mighty fleet of aircraft carriers, frigates, cruisers, and battleships, all escorting and softening up the towers for my transports carrying my legions of tanks and infantry to the enemy islands.Ahhhh the memories
nope, it was just a broken download. but now i got the right one, made a vid about it... and now i pretty much have yet another problem. on some computers it works, on some it comes up with an error saying: you need atleast a resolution of 800x600, even thou i have 1200x1024... and i don;t know what to do.
This kind of music make me feel like a man who lost everything, but not his own soul. Then he is ready to try again, not only to find everything which he lost, but also to find himself.
I used a program called Messer v-0.99. You should be able to find it with google and there's also a copy on snapfiles.
The program records music directly from your pcs sound card. So basically you open the game, turn of all sound effects apart from the music and then just record using Messer.
You know, sadly I have no idea. Sierra Entertainment never labelled their audio tracks in game and I could't convert them directly from the data files. :/
The song is called 'The Fallen' and was composed with Microsoft DirectMusic Producer by Steve Maitland.
The DirectMusic format is a RIFF based derivative of Midi which allows the track to change dynamically to events in the game.
Unfortunately, a consequence is that the song is not stored 'intact' in the data, but is composed by the game - making it difficult to convert or play directly.
It also means that these (clever) workarounds clips are missing the other variations of each song.
Ahhh thank you very much. I remember the name 'The Fallen' as well as the other names. I'll go on and change the EE videos titles/descriptions and tags as soon as I get a chance (before next monday at the latest).
Could you tell me what part Ed Lima had in making this music? His name was listed in the credits as well, and this way I can the video descriptions done properly.
Sorry, but I can't say for sure. It seems that Steve was the only one who signed his work. The files are split into hundreds of segments each with their own author field and I didn't check them all. However:
Time, Rivers, Pawns & Honor are all signed by Steve. He only signed them in one place, suggesting they were composed whole.
Shadows, Fallen, Enmity & Balance on the other hand appear to be unsigned by anyone. Maybe Ed wrote those?
Makes me want to march my armies around. The battle version of this tho...I love raiding to that.

Hmm that could be the case. I'll just change the descriptions, so it says they both contributed to the EE music.
Thanks again.

It took a while, but all the video names, descriptions and tags should now be correct.
