As a bookbinder with the National Trust for Scotland I have to say your work practice is terrible and I wouldn't trust you with one of my books . . really sloppy work . . you even place your glued page on top of the book to trim it . . the book should be nowhere near your work until is is needed!!! Doh
Sorry for the delay! We use an industrial glue that wouldn't be available for most. But the closest thing to what we use is something called "Sobo" glue. It's a glue that crafters use and should be available at most crafting stores (you could also try Walmart or the like).
