  • my jaws are shaking too XD!!! like a 32' Bombarde.

  • 0:31

    oh shit

  • I hear a Boeing B-29 bomber here with the 4 Pratt & Whitney radial engines at full trottle , and I woud like to hear those 32' bombarde pipes on the JS Bach's Toccata in F Major BWV 540.........!!! can I ? PLEASEEEE......

  • I understand that Curt Mangel, curator and genius behind the restoration of this organ (and heard in the background), is in charge of the Atlantic City project. Good news for the Mighty Midmer-Losh!

  • THATS POWER xD

  • Over 28,000 pipes and by far the largest organ in the world.

  • @Baldgol4 actually, the second largest. and the largest playable organ. The Atlantic City Boardwalk Organ is the largest with several thousand more than the Wanamaker, but it is undergoing trulymassive renovation after many years of neglect (and building renovation worker incompetence) rendered it almost totally unplayable.

  • @HappyDiscoDeath

The Atlantic City Convention organ is a sad story, one of the 6 chambers was playable, but now silent. Hopefully soon this part will be restored. I hope one day it may possibly become the largest organ, but probably pigs will fly first!!! All power to ACCHOS to achieve the almost impossible. It would be out of this world to hear it play live!

    Pomp & c - love this tune & excellent organ ***

  • @Baldgol4 Atlantic City Convention Hall Midmer-Losh organ has close to or over 34,000 pipes at the last count. Wannamaker's is bigger in rank count, but Atlantic City has more pipes, because every rank has 73 pipes. Also, Atlantic City is, and probably always will be the largest organ ever built at "one time", by a single manufacturer.

  • @Organsk8er I should say, every rank has AT LEAST 73 pipes. The designer of the organ, Senator Emerson Richards wanted it that way. Reading the contract for that organ is like reading an entire book on organ building and design.

  • I can only imagine the sound in person..Wish I could make it over to philly to see this!
