@Legio207 not with this model.Strange thing is the civilian model of the Tommy(the one seen in Mafia movies)is the one that used the drum while our military used the one with the stick mags.

That's a feature that a M1A1 had:it accepted the (M3 SMG) greasegun mags.

i had one of these years ago good shooter but a thompson it aint . Thompson never made a gun that took grease gun mags . were was youre gun made?

The 1928 model has the charging handle on top & used a 20rd box magazine;M1/M1A1 has charging handle on side & used 30rd stick mags(used also by M3 SMG "Greasegun)

It's a M1A1.The main difference was its mags were interchangeable with the M3 SMG(Greasegun).
