  • @MrSquid21:The M1928A1 is the version that used the stick mags, not the drum mag.The M1A1 version had the charging handle at the side; The M1928/A1 had it on top of reciever.

  • I actually believe this is an m1928 model. Although the fact that it can't hold a drum mag makes me think otherwise.

  • @Noobkilla99786:Gun stores,gun shows & some sporting stores like Dunham's sell them.

  • Where can you get one of those?

  • @Noobkilla99786 Depends on where you live.. where I live you cant get them.. but.. it was great in the days of full auto and you could have anything.. that was fun...

  • @He101A:Thanks,was more accurate & reliable than I thought.

  • @crazywermacht:Thanks,but this weapon has a incredible history of being accurate & reliable. This video proves it.

  • Interesting choice of guns comrade

  • @Kabul81:I do believe that no one should live under tyranny, but I'm not part of any faction that's against it.For now.

  • At first I thought you might be with "sinn féin"

    Jman

  • i want one

  • One of the Tommy Gun's nicknames is the Chicago typewriter.

  • That grip makes it look like a type writer

  • The m1a1 that uses stick mags were more efficient for soldiers because they could carry much more sticks and more rounds than bulky drum mags.

  • @TheDonutFox You're right my friend.

  • @cavedivrdowne:it might be faulty mags;that's the most common cause of jams.

  • I have one just like it, but it jams like crazy

  • cant u use a drum mag on it???

  • @Legio207 not with this model.Strange thing is the civilian model of the Tommy(the one seen in Mafia movies)is the one that used the drum while our military used the one with the stick mags.

  • @BosnaRevolucija you're welcome my friend

  • Thanx, this version is a Commando from Volunteer Enterprises & it fires from open bolt position.

  • has this thompson been modified? I thought the M1A1 fired from an open bolt... nice shooting btw!

  • You're right

  • Carbines are shorter versions of the weapon it's based on,i.e,the M1 carbine & M4 are shorter versions of the Garand & M16 rifles.

  • @TheChaves11b You have a point. It just that that the word carbine has become somewhat of a generic term.

  • 1)Part of my outfit

2)SMGs are legal in Michigan if they're semiauto.

  • @TheChaves11b Well if it is semiautomatic well then technically wouldn't it make it a carbine? I mean without the fullauto feature then it could compared more to the M1 Carbine in the sense that it was used like a really light automatic rifle.

  • OK I'll bite... why the ski mask?

Please don't tell me it's illegal to own a sub-machine gun.

  • thanx guys!!

  • great gun,shooting,and info!

  • man,great shooting!

  • You're right about it being sweet!!

  • SWEET ASS GUN!!!I WANT ONE!!!

  • Thanx spiderham91!

  • man,that is sweet;great shooting!!!

  • That's a feature that a M1A1 had:it accepted the (M3 SMG) greasegun mags.

  • i had one of these years ago good shooter but a thompson it aint . Thompson never made a gun that took grease gun mags . were was youre gun made?

  • I know-The Tommy gun was more accurate & recoil was less than I thought when I did this video

  • What a beautiful weapon, they just don't make them like that anymore.

    The Tommy gun.

  • I've bought mine used for $450

  • Cool video. I never could get myself to spend 800$-1000$ on just semi automatic Tommy gun, it's just isn't a lot of gun for that price.

  • Thanx for the comment & support!!

  • I have always been a fan of the Tommy Gun. I would like to mod one and shorten it up with a m4 retractable stock. 5*

  • The 1928 model has the charging handle on top & used a 20rd box magazine;M1/M1A1 has charging handle on side & used 30rd stick mags(used also by M3 SMG "Greasegun)

  • I think this thompson is model m1928

  • I wish, but in Michigan, you need a ATF approved Class 3 license for fully auto weapons.

  • sweet video, but could you do a video on guns while firing them at full auto or burst ? Thanks!

  • It's a M1A1.The main difference was its mags were interchangeable with the M3 SMG(Greasegun).

  • thats not an actual m1 thompson, what is it?

  • Thanx-Glad you enjoyed!!
