AHAHA, thats Harrisons, im a female rock climber and been at it for 3 1/2 years, there are plenty of women in the sport. Maybe not as many dedicated as men, but theres still a fair few of us!
I am a lady who love rock climbing very much. Rock climbing is a challenging and fun activity. With sporty clothing like spandex and bra top, I can be very attractive to boys.
Lame. If they wnt to do a story about female climbers why didn't they show Lynn Hill cranking hard on some crazy trad route instead of a few girls top roping . . .
What they're trying to say is Normally its only men rewarded for doing/partaking in extreme sports. But the fact is Women partake in lots of extreme sports especially rock climbing, Including Me. Sarah Cullen was my climbing instructor!
At any crag or indoor wall I,ve always found a more or less 50/50 split between the sex's. This reporter seams to be trying to make a story out of a false observation.

Even if it were an extreme sport for risk takers(depends on what and how you climb). That doesn't necessarily exclude women.
