Three seconds. Wow. Just, wow. Like I've said before, you have my dream dog. Lol. I actually met someone the other day who knew exactly who I was talking about when I mentioned you and Dazzle. Apparently, you're a very popular person :D
Thank you:). Where did you get those weaves from, and are they AKC Standard? They are much nicer than my PVC ones and I like that they move in relation to Dazzle's body when she weaves. Are they expensive and is there a website?
Jeez, my brain is fried! I thought I replied to this.... Anyway, I made those poles myself out of PVC. I used my own kind of crazy design so they are different than most PVC sets. If you want a cheap set of competition weaves, try MAD Agility Equipment. Even with shipping that is about the cheapest price you will find for 12 weave poles, and they are nice quality too! Good luck!
5 STARS for Dazzle:)! That is AMAZING! And so fast too:)! Did you use guiders and did you start off with all 12? Sylvia told me this was the best way to weave. I can't wait until Kaine can weave 12 poles like Dazzle:).
We did almost every method in the books! We started with 12. I used channels, guide wires, angled poles, or a combpo of those during her training. If I want to work her commitment/distance I channel them a bit, if I want to work on her footwork I angle them, and if she was popping out or missing her entrance I put a guide on. Also, to get her to collect her stride before the poles I sometimes put a jump bar on the ground before them... I can't wait to see Kaine drive through 12 poles! :)
Awesome weaves dazzle i use weave poles with pal kainine and akira too i find it easier i didnt get a agility trainer i trained her my dang self! GOOD VIDEO THOUGH Xx XD
I used Channel weaves with wires. You can google that and you will find a bunch of information on how to train weave poles using that method. Though if you really want to do agility I suggest finding a trainer - are you SURE there is no one in your area? Sometimes they are hard to find....
Beautiful weaves, i love how she's low to the ground and driving forward! I noticed you are from the Northwest/seattle AREA, who do you train with? And i bet you could get even faster weave poles yet if she has any sort of toy drive...or have u tried that
