This isn't the Sonic Boom heard over Seattle, I have seen this video many times before. This is really not the same Boom nor video.

Out of all the sonic boom videos on here, what happened in Seattle did NOT sound like that. And I have it on good authority, it may have been deterrent missiles, not jets, that caused the boom. (directly from a local military person) wish i could dig up more information on it though.

@TheSoccerGoalkeeper ... You need to study geography a little harder. Afghanistan is only 1,500 miles south of Russia and Iran is only 250 miles south of Russia with only Azerbaijan separating the two. Washington State is roughly 3,500 miles from Russia at the closest.

Kick ass! I heard it yesterday at work and I live over an hour away across the sound. I was kindo confused at first because I didn't know what it was, until my friend Zach came into work and told me.
