What's up with all the hater comments about this shit not working? Of course it won't! Cops know about handcuffs, etc, that's why they do it properly, behind your back, and locksmiths know about zip ties and credit cards, so they make doors that don't open that way. These are just little tricks that are applicable in certain situations. They are useful and cool things to know.

Ok now if you're a asshole like the guy who points out that this won't work on doors opening inwards. You can take a credit card and basically do the same thing but just slide it right through doesn't matter if they have a doorframe or not. Just push it through and the door will plop right open. Been using this to get into my own house sense I was 11.

1) Your hands would likely be behind you and they wouldnt let you cross your arms like that, lol.

2) The type police use have individual holes for each hand. Essentially, they are pretty much plastic handcuffs using a zip tie mechanic.

So, none of those tricks would work if you found yourself in police custody...

3) That opening door trick will only work on doors not worth opening anyway, lol. If that works on any door outside your house, you have problems.

The door lock thing won't work as demonstrated because if you notice, there's a half round thingie that slides along the back side of the latch, The half round thingie springs at the same time as the slide latch, but is independent of the latch, When the latch falls into the slot in the door frame and extends into the hole, the half round thingie remains compressed since it doesn't fit into any slot. A compressed half round thingie locks the latch extended and won't allow it to be pushed in.
