Don Draper cheats on his wife, acts like an ass to all of his underlings, is a pretty non existent father most of the time, and yet they find a way to make you think he is a good guy. That is the genius that is "Mad Men".
This is one of the fewest scenes on the show when Don shows anger towards someone who messed up his marrige. Meaning, he showed anger that Betty was angry with him. sweet scene
People are totally biased. Jimmy was an amazing character and was very complex, but had integrity and intelligence. Don deserved everything he got. He's the main character and the director portrays him in a way to be admirable, but make no mistake Don does terrible, terrible things.
@SagaciousSilence - Hey don't get it twisted; Barrett wanted to and would've done the exact same thing to Don with Betty had Betty allowed it. He had a hard on for Betty long before he knew anything about Don banging Bobbie.
I watched every episode but for some reason don't remember this part. Can anyone tell me if it was towards the end? I fell asleep because I was tired with a few.
@TheSIKKS66 No, don is a fictional character who has an actor that doesn't actually punch the other actor. and if he did, it wouldn't be too painful. because they're actors.
@ktm5194 no, thats probably why they did the punch they did. it most likely looked the most realistic and thats why they chose a sucker punch..i mean, MAYBE they wanted Don to look like a coward, but i wouldn't see them deliberately making him look like one.

@SagaciousSilence Don is an a-hole, for sure but you're not watching Madmen because you're looking for integrity, now are you...?

It was a time a a punch didn't turn into a lawsuit. It was also a time when men didn't have to call each other "b-tch" to feel like men.

@JSasRays
If you're Don Draper, then yes. In fact, he has the right to anyone's wife.

@SharksKid In a sea of irrelevant comments, yours has the most moxie. Roger Sterling-esque, if you will. You win.

I know you were, I just didn't get what you were trying to achieve with the reply you posted. It made absolutely no sense to me.

@bridgetalaine7 so are you saying you wouldn't mind getting punched in the face if you were an actor?
