No its not alive. Snakes rarely eat things that are still alive. Especially constrictors. They wrap around the victim and squeeze tight, every time the victim breaths out the snake constricts tighter until the victim is dead. Then they maneuver around to the head and swallow the sucker whole. The snake most likely regurgitated the Hippo because the people were messing with it, stressing the snake out.
