IRT SWATCH Ad-wrapped R142A (6) train at Longwood Avenue (Pelham Bound)

How did you know the wrapped train was coming? I never know when they are coming. I can only catch the wrapped shuttle trains at Grand Central or Times Square. I have seen the No. 6 wrapped Swatch train once so far.

@vanaphil I saw it in downtown. Since i live north, i decided to take the train in front of it while the Swatch train was looping City Hall station and then i caught it

@bebo2good1 I got the Travel Channel wrapped 42nd Street Shuttle on tape at Grand Central Terminal. Easier to get.

@vanaphil Yeah but t he (MTA) changes the ADs every month or 2. For the IRT 42nd Street (S) its been changed a few times.

Hey bebo2good1, that's a good subway shot of the Swatch Watch train. They probably run it along the Lexington Ave line since the mayor and other politicians ride those trains.

i really hate the trains colored in ads for some stupid watch or crap. they look horrible. they look even more horrible than the R42

why the hell do they alwasy cover only the IRT trains with those ADS?? Why not the r46 or r68?? hmmmmmm??

@muz469 I think its becuz the whole train is str8 like a box unlike the IND cars. Plus its just testing.. In the future u may see it on the B div.
