I LOVE Jewel-She IS an AMERICAN treasure, she DOES have a phenomenal voice,but I must say, I'm shocked by her innocent, sexy type "portrayal" here(initially,during the beginning of the song) of our National anthem. She's rarely guilty of this,but, Save it for the stage in your own show-you're not a little Lolita-type. Sing it Strong and Proud-not "sex-kitteny" You've got the "pipes" for it, girl! It's not YOUR drama. It's OUR song!!!

For whomever said she lipsynced. You have no idea of how powerfull her voice is. Only Jewel and Allanis Morrisette can just belt out their voice in this way. I have heard radio shows with both as guests and was amazed on how well anyone can sound without enhancements.
