@SparkiegoesHuzzah the original voice of jazz was Scatman Crothers, who yes was black, and a jazz muscian, hence how the autobot got his name during preproduction. after scatmans death in 1986 jazz would not have a speaking part in G1 again including the movie and was later replaced by ricochet .
