  • AT&T's word, like their network, can't be trusted. They try to justify their bad behavior in throttling & breaching "Unlimited" data phone contracts by making up their own definitions (like politicians & small children). Webster's Dictionary defines UNLIMITED as: (1) lacking any controls, unrestricted -unlimited access-; (2) boundless, infinite; (3) not bounded by exceptions -- Call AT&T & complain, notify your state Atty. General, the FCC & FTC; then we'll organize lawsuits.

  • All your "room641a" belong to us ! ( hint google room 641a )

  • AT&T is secertly buying up every public traded company worldwide they beyond a monopoly they are worldwide monopoly they created a program that controls the climate and weather on earth we are so screwed LOL not me though!!!

  • we watched this in telco training. Stephen Colbert is better at describing what happened than AT&T is.

  • shout out to mt training class thats watching the video now............

  • awwww how funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AT&Tception.

  • at&t is the best quit hatin

  • so att was cingular

  • why does a company even have the right to name themselves at&t. at&t stands for everything that is corupt and anti-competitive! i can't stand hearing the name at&t.

  • The at&t and verizon (vodaphone - foreing company) monopolies are in action. This is just a small dose of the proof. If you're with either of them, dump 'em. Any company that can only grow by gobbling up the competition with their large bank accounts kills jobs and hurts the economy. Every time they Pac Man a company, they lay off Americans.

  • @mywaveinoc Just a small quibble. They are not monopolies. They are oligopolies. Similar, but its a different thing.

  • @Allabaster84 True, but just as damaging.

  • @mywaveinoc Granted. I've just got this little tic where I demand accuracy in terminology and facts when accusations are made. Example: About 60% of everything you hear about Wal-mart is either false or exaggerated, however most people cite it as fact because it seems believable. That is when you can tell that you have failed to Control The Message.

  • haha... I dont live in USA so i dont have to put up with at&t and verizon, :D

  • i lived thru the original FCC divestiture of AT&T in '84. every 8-10 months there'd be another restructure wthin the Co. until finally in '96 there was a "tri-vestiture" n which Lucent was born. O had a total of FOUR different company names on my paycheck thru that 10 yrs, and never moved my desk!

  • To clarify, the government is suing to block the merger. It'll be a while before this is actually resolved.

  • Hilarious!

  • This video is all true. AT&T has been trying to rule the world for more than a century. Many antitrust suits have been filed, prompting the government and FCC to crack down on them. But the company always finds a way to get around the law, usually by taking over other companies and disguising themselves. We have some really evildoers in this world and the biggest corporations are exactly that. Walmart, AT&T, and the White House and the most evil ones.

  • @highnote606 If AT&T didn't own so many patents I don't think this would be an issue. I'm not sure it is anyway, at least in wireless. Verizon and Sprint are there. But AT&T could never sell another telephone again and still be making money on those patents.

  • @highnote606 The White House isn't a corporation. Hell, its not even a branch of the government. It is the primary residence of one person in the government in particular. Check facts, then come back, thanks.

  • I just spent 90 mins on the phone with ATT with 5 different people, and am taking a break before heading back in for more [sigh]. So this remembered this vid and came to see it again. THANKS!! IT MADE MY DAY!! LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • I LOLLED AHAHAHAA THIS GUY IS A FUNNY

  • Why is Rebekka black related to this vid?^^

  • @trumpetterror Because you idiots keep talking about it in comments. Related video projection is partly based off of comment discussion.

  • @RealLifeAttraction That was my first comment on this video idiot.

  • So hilarious!!!!!

  • Not quite true. AT&T was broken up into competing forces because with no competiion prices go up and quality stays low. (which is why buying healthcare across state lines would likely have lowered everyone's costs without all the problems of last year)

BUT, then after they broke apart, others could compete. so even with reunification, there is still Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltel, COX, MetroPCS, PureMobile, Virgin Mobile and others. There is no likelihood that ATT could regain a monopoly.

  • @Karlmessner Sprint will likely fold in the next couple of years because the death star is buying T-mobile now.

Verizon will be the only competition, and if verizon falters, - guess what, back to square one, just takes one MCI style fuck up (remember them) for verizon to fall before the jaws of AT&T

  • @Karlmessner Virgin Mobile is now part of Sprint, and Alltel was purchased by Verizon. So the two mega carriers AT&T, and Verizon (formerly at&t) will have a duopoly. Those other smaller carriers will be forced to merge or get bought out if the t-mobile deal goes through.

  • This is so true!

  • Obama, show us that Washington is not rotten and stop this deal. Free market must have competition. What kind of competition is this if the few companies that get a spectrum license are allowed to merge?

  • @Vistazzos Do you even know what free market means? Not that America has one...

  • @Vistazzos 2006 dude... 2006

  • @Kirbyeggs00 I was talking about T-Mobile 2011 mate

  • Comment removed

  • Obama wont let this go through, right? RIGHT GUYS? Hello? Is this thing on?

  • someone should forward this to the FTC and FCC so they can block the att tmo merger. And to show how stupid they are

  • my mytouch 4g is unlocked and rooted so im gonna have no problem switching :)

  • @beratalbania it may be rooted, but you'll only get edge speeds. :(

  • @c0wz i rooted my mytouch 3g and i still got 4g speeds. lol

  • @OfficialSmash4 the 3g/4g bands are different on AT&T and t-mobile. they won't work.

  • It's happening again!!!!

  • Verizon is part of bell system which is att.

  • Screw AT&T and T-Mobile!

  • Simply put, AT&T had a war plan to conquer again, and they fucking did it. Damn....

  • rip tmobile

  • @suprapinoy64 The merger was blocked by the US government

  • @fargon123 it wasnt blocked I think FCC can only block it

  • @zoemayne who the fuck do you think the FCC is.

  • @fargon123 really? this is good news.

  • Very appropriate now that AT&T bought T-Mobile. FUCK YOU, AT&T. You will never have my money!!!

    Virgin Mobile FTW!

  • @Atheismrulez Very true my friend. BUT did you know Virgin uses Tmobile towers? So eventually Virgin WILL be also ATT...I swore I would NEVER go back to ATT when I left them but looks like they're going to get back at us. I think they're going to lose a lot of clients like you and me hate ATT and will eventually end up going to Verizon...what do you think?

  • @305goldenmia Actually Virgin Mobile uses Sprint's network. Virgin Mobile is CDMA and not GSM. This information can be found on their website. I sell Virgin Mobile devices quite frequently for the retailer I work for. You can hardly beat their prices on devices and service. Although their coverage isn't as expansive as other carriers, they do cover you in many major cities. But Virgin does not operate off of T-Mobile so no worries of being with AT&T. Thought I'd clear that up for you.

  • @305goldenmia

Virgin Mobile USA is Sprint's pre-paid/off-contract division, so they use Sprint's towers.

"On July 28, 2009, Sprint agreed to pay $483 million to purchase Virgin Mobile USA. The Federal Trade Commission later gave the go-ahead on the acquisition. Virgin Mobile USA was originally conceived as a joint venture between Virgin Group and Sprint, and uses Sprint's cellular bandwidth in the United States. Sprint retained the Virgin Mobile name after the deal closed."

  • wow colbert is awesome as always. funny im watching this cause att just bought tmobile so i was thinking they had previous links, i guess not. o well damn u att; fucking up all of our affordable plans

  • pretty damn accurate

  • HAHAHA that was really funny.

  • When was this from?

  • Do you know what episode this was from?
