And if you go through the training exercises they have, it's just like going to an instructor, only difference is it's automated, it makes it fun by turning it into a game, you can go at your own pace, and you can do it whenever you want, for as long as you want. Not limited to 2 hour sessions once a week.

@Redfarl21 Lol yeah, I bought my friend Rock Band 3 and theres a pro and non pro option. I prefer Pro Keys cuz I have a MIDI keyboard/Yamaha Keyboard at home. If you want to plug in a Keyboard or Guitar thats midi supported, you could buy a Pro Media Adapter and use it for rock band 3.

@rawrl2121 Yes it's possible to play pro keys without formal lessons. As long as you can learn the basics, you should be able to play on easy for a week or two, medium for a few months, then try a few hard and expert. If you need any help beyond that, just look at the youtube channel WillTingMusic for some extremely simplified beginner lessons.

@DeadlyPlague1625 Pro keys, for the most part, is the right hand part. Although they do screw up some of the songs and make it a mix of both hands (which gets pretty dumb), and some of the parts are played with both hands by the original keyboardist.
