For those who are bagging hobbyking, I've placed in excess of 30 orders with them and I've NEVER had a problem. About 15 of my models are foam types from Hobbyking and they all fly well. Just make sure you read the reviews before you make a selection to ensure you're getting a proven model. I also have hobbyking-sourced outrunners, ESCs, receivers, Lipos and other parts all of top quality and all still working fine. I cant comment on the service because I've never needed it.
Hobby King is going down the Toilet prices creeping up and the warehouse must be manned by complete baffons 4 days to post small orders how ridicules can they get. don't even bother trying there help centre it's even worse then the warehouse. It seems al the big names in the hobby business are shonky operators, get your money then forget you.
How about spending Less Time on here and more trying to rectify, the WOW-ful service and practically non-existent customer service. Hobby King would have the worst service of any of the Chines based companies I have ever dealt with they are just not worth the cheaper prices anymore, beside there prices seem to be creeping up anyway.

I guess I've been lucky with HK. I've placed about 5 orders with them and only had one problem with a defective Turnigy camera and one FPV camera that came smashed. I probably wouldn't try my luck with most of their aircraft but for cheap parts, they cannot be beaten. I religiously read the discussions below the products before I buy now. I know they have tried to police the discussions in the past, removing unfavorable comments but lately I think they have given that up.

This channel has been in the toilet since the advent of the "skunkwerks" and "sneak preview" videos which are basically low-budget commercials shot in a dark basement touting these "great" new products that they give us absolutely no info on. Between Nitroplanes, Hobby-Lobby and Banana Hobby I get plenty of biased "reviews" in my weekly subs, but at least theirs are shot well by those with some knowledge of what they are selling!
