  • Every parent should do this.

    Our children are our future.

  • i luv this it almost made me cry.. :) great message

  • My parents taught me how to speak braille. Now every one listened to me not one single word comes out of my mouth just action.

  • this is so true this is always why conflicts start

  • I got the shivers.

  • this is such a powerful video..i'm inspired

  • Very nice!

  • YES! I'm so glad this is the movie that won i was rooting for it

  • So you think this video was not sincere?

  • Amazing video.

  • No right, no wrong. No actions, no consequences. No morality, no immorality. No God, no Satan. No freedom, no slavery. Just smile. All the time. Don't question. Utopia? Of course. Until your neighbor disagrees. And has a gun. Or a head scarf. Or a bible. Or A Koran. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. Rot comes in all races, religions and nationalities. THINK FOR YOURSELF.

  • It's a winner!

  • I love this video. It speaks a powerful message and to have children speaking makes it even more powerful.

  • this is so cute! it made me almost cry =( to know that parents out there are actually like that!

  • I've actually been hearing this same essential message my whole life: the only positive goods in our society are pluralism and tolerance, that there are no false ideas or opinions. An absolute of relativism, which is actually a self refuting position. This is a fools wisdom and potentially dangerous since many take this absurdity at face value and they don't question it, because it sounds so safe and easy. But what happens when we begin to tolerate every pernicious trend?

  • I really don't think this was what this video was about at all.

  • wow. it got it really good. hope parents learn something here...

  • finally, people who agree with this :)

  • "please don't teach us" is such key word.many parents pass on all their wrong ideas to their children..they pass on the hate...so..this is such a great idea...Please don't teach the children wrong things

    great video

  • I love it.

And I completely agree on this video. :)

  • This stands out like a beacon in the vast, dark wilderness of a world that sucks far too often

  • Beautiful, I wish this message could reach the people who are in power, and who really need it.

    Congrats.

  • thank you so much

  • Wow! What a great message. 5*

  • I believe in the message of the video but I think that the world is too superficial to actually change. =/ Cute kids though.

  • What if a culture advocates intolerance? What action do you take against that intolerant culture?

The world will not change within those kids lifetimes. Maybe their grandkids, but not likely any sooner than that.

  • Very Nice Video!

One of the Best video on YouTube. :-)

  • That's right! Change starts with the children. This gave me goosebumps.

  • I really think this is something we shouldn´t just show here, but om other sites, to make people see how the world is acting wrong and passing these images to children.

    really touched me.

  • this vid has a nice message hopefully we understand it!!!!!!!1

  • I was pulling for the video with the kid talking about family but congrats to the winner.

  • impactful

  • Oh My God I see before this movie its totally awesome!

  • There's always going to be someone who looks past this message and finds the negative.

Yes they all have American accents...No there isn't an East Asian boy in here...

The message isn't in the kids they chose, its in what they said.

Stop making everything a controversy, just sit back and listen.

  • and all this racism is because england decided to use african american and indians in south america and africa as slaves huh look what one word can cause

  • i will remember this forever

  • This video is so needed on the youtube community theres so much hate speech on here! Do people realise how much their views and words affects others? <3 this video!

  • Amen! I think this was an excellence choice! Yes YOUTUBE need to hear this...there is SO much hatred on here its pathic and already we see the young teenagers on here learning to hate others by the example the adults are setting ON HERE...sad, sad, indeed. Kids learn not just from their parents but from anyone they look up too. Stop hating!!

  • that was an amazing message and i couldn't agree more with it

  • I totally think the right video was picked as the winner. Great stuff.

  • this is a WONDERFUL post fo' ALL these RACIST UTUBERZ! WE need to get along b/c we have to live together in this world! RACE IS BIG issue on the tube and this is a site to post comments on posted videos but some ppl like to RUN OUT!

  • Nice idealism. Unfortunately it runs contrary to the nature of the desperate ill informed masses who ingrain their fears and hatreds into their children to create this vicious cycle.

  • congrats to the winner. the video was very good.

  • Amazing work! We need more videos like this. Seriously.

  • THat's just a great vid. XD

  • w o n d e r f u l !

  • Congratulations to Winner, Nice video aswell..Its true.

  • Really nice but too bad that this is not going to be reality

  • Showbiz or not, it's absolutely crucial that this message is constantly reinforced. Kudos to the winner!

I am still less comfortable with the word tolerance though. It evokes the sense of just accepting the fact thatt there will always be people who are different from you & you just need to DEAL with them being different -- i.e. don't provoke.

I much prefer the word... understanding? or compassion? Hmm Like saying, I tolerate you vs. I empathise/understand are worlds from each other.

  • I really like it! Great message.

  • theyve all got american accents, and those were only kids. I dont care, good things came out of it anyway.

  • The film still promotes a positive message.

  • Awesome Movie! I Saw it Last night!

  • Tolerance is not the highest virtue. Truth is.

  • That actually gave me chills as I watched it. I found it to be very powerful for some reason.

  • i hope we can all do our part to stop all this discrimating nonsense that has befallen our world do to the believe of people with small minds and see the world in their own message of hate and discrimination. so please to everyone who sees this movie or reads my message. have an open mind so we can all have an open heart.

  • this video teaches and touches people. i love it

  • sweet but hardly revolutionary

  • looks good!

  • Aww, I love it. I should watch that movie sometime.

  • very nice!

  • who ever made this video:

thank you... this is shows the best of what web site like this one are all about... and even though, dumb, lame, and even offensive videos are a necessary in life, videos like yours brings us back to what is all about... and what we all fail to do... I will show my five year old daughter your video, and recomended with sincere admiration. Good job.

  • I think tolerance is great when its not taken out of context. Standing by your beliefs and disagreeing with someone elses in a respectful manner is tolerance. Believing that gays should not marry is not intolerant. Believing that Evolution is right and creation is not is intolerant. Believing that your faith is right and another isnt, is not intolerant, although that seems to be the unpopular claim these days.

  • your statement is pathetic. Sorry, I tolerate many, but not noobs like you who claim that gays shouldn't be accepted and that their religion is superior yadda yadda yadda. Grow up!

  • cuTe kiDs anD niCE meSSAge..

  • I think this video is really cool!

Its great to see such a strong message

come from this video im glad it won congrats!

  • Great messege.

  • forgive the bounty hunter, I do and we all should

  • Congratulations to the winner. Hopefully we can do better than tolerance as the world gets smaller and smaller.

  • heh thats great, the things those kids are saying are true. we gotta make a change

  • Thats if the people begging for tolerance dont let the intolerant people chop EVERYONES head off first.

  • aww thats cute and sad

  • This is my favorite video on all of Youtube now. <3333

  • the kids are cute..

but they've all got american accents!!

  • so you sayin you hate america? haha, im just kidding. ya you think they'd deversify a bit hu

  • yes we cant have that. it would be tolerant

  • Americans don't have accents.

  • americans have an accent?

I guess i never notice it before

  • i doubt the people who made it had the funds to go talent recruiting throughout the world. they probably got people from their community, which just so happened to be in America.

  • These "diversity" ads NEVER show East Asian guys; they always show the girls but never the guys.

Not surprisingly this pattern of discrimination is found everywhere liberals post something to promote their form of "diversity". Whether it's college brochures, Media adds, billboards, or in this case: videos.

It just reveals something very important about the American psyche, particularly it's attitude towards Oriental men.

In other words, this is nothing more than Liberal bullshit.

  • I agree. They always show East Asian girls but what about the other Asians? I'm from Southeast Asia and most Americans don't know anything about the countries there. And about the men, there are lots of fine Asian men. Americans are so goddamn bias.

  • Deadbutmoving are you having a hard day this film still holds a positive message and why focus on the negative... that wasn't a question that was a statement in case you haven't noticed...

  • No, this video is true, they just need to think about it themselves. People do need to be more understanding and accepting to one another.

  • and BTW, oriental women are sufficiently discriminated (see the Geishas and the Indian movie "WATER" about the Baby widows) that I don't feel uncomfortable at all in having an Asian girl doing an ad on "discrimination".

  • We can't accept people with different beliefs if those beliefs are that we must be dead.

  • Who said accept?

Tolerating something is different than accepting...

You don't have to ACCEPT Muslim religion... just don't insult them or throw rocks at them

  • I wonder why you automatically assumed that he is talking about Islam

  • Wow, kind of freaks me out a bit, when I hear "tolerance" used in such a way that simply sounds well like propaganda.

Don't get me wrong, I see the same thing used on the New Right / Neocons with "patriotism" and Security. Left picks Equality. Old right and libertarians pick Freedom. So I guess I understand, I just freak out at the other two.

Kind of like being free, even at the expense of Equality, the left value, or Security, the Neocon value.

  • show biz

  • Toleration and Tolerance are terms used within debates in areas of social, cultural and religious context, to describe attitudes and practices that prohibit discrimination against those whose practices or group memberships may be disapproved of by those in the majority. ...

  • Good work!

  • What an awsome video.

I'm on a mission of my own, join if you feel up to it.

  • Beautfiul and inspiring words coming from children...what more does it take for the world to take notice of what is so wrong and what it is that we have to do to make this world a better place for all of us! These are words of wisdom. This is how we can make a difference in the world...and it all starts with each and everyone of us!

Congratulations to those making this video...and to those choosing it as the winner! If the world takes heed of this plea...then we are all winners!

  • yay! congratulations, that is awesome!!

  • sweet

  • Yes

  • word

  • cool!

  • I really want to see "Lions For Lambs".

    =]

  • Wow!

  • that's just perfect

  • Tolerance is not the right word. Tolerance means that you put it with something. People shouldn't put with other people, they should accept them for who they are. Teach children acceptance not tolerance.

  • Strongly agree with you. Tolerance is just the wrong word. Accepting people not tolerate them. Once again it shows how deeply the idea of certain groups being superior was rooted. Well at least it seems like they made the ad out of good intention....

  • I don't know about that. I am an atheist. I tolerate that others have a belief in religion... but I don't accept that religion. See what I mean? Acceptance is great and beautiful... but it's what you have for people in your own family and in your community. Sometimes it goes against our morals to accept something.

To tolerate it, however, is to be kind and respectful. I like the word tolerance, but that's just in my humble opinion.

  • cool

  • CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the message that the children gave to the parents out there. That alone should be placed on a clip by it self. I would not mind passing that one around.. thank you
