Obama, like probably every other candidate has in the past, submitted his Certification of Live Birth from the State of Hawaii, which is a legally-accepted document verifying his U.S. citizenship. Had the COLB not been acceptable, the FEC would have informed him of such.

It's worse than that even. The article takes the total amount he's paid his law firm since 2007 and assumes all of that went to stopping those frivolous suits. That's sort of like noting that someone buys gum in a certain store and that they spent $700 in that store last month, and thinking that means they must have spent $700 on gum.
Sitting Presidents and candidates tend to require lots of legal advice, and filing a motion to dismiss in a frivolous lawsuit doesn't come to much.

My point is that why ask Obama if he is an American, you didn't ask any of the former presidents so what makes his situation any different? He showed his birth certificate a long time ago. Search "Obama birth certificate" or "Obama birth certificate". You will find them both and images of them both. If he was born in Kenya then his Hawaiian grandparents would have had to fake his birth in Hawii and would have had to know in 1961 that in 47 years their grandson would run for president. There's one point everyone seems to have overlooked. It's up to each State election commission to determine qualifications to be placed onto their election ballot. Either "your" State's Election Commission accepted President Obama's documentation as part of the election ballot application or it was too stupid to ask for any. I suggest you take up this issue with "your" local State Election Commission. Case closed.
