  • Music is not a sport

  • Arpeggios? Modes? Feeling? What is it? How could I learn to play like this?

  • Amazing! what a great piece, amazing playing!

  • I would love to have a picture of django's portrait in the back, does anybody have it? In google is really hard to find!

  • @Corai12

    I have it.

  • @F0nkyNinja can you send it to me bro?

  • is this improvised?

  • Nice lick starting at 0:50, i think one of the best licks i`ve heard and have seen.

  • damn, petrucci = shit

  • Stochelo Rosenberg improvises All over Me

  • What are those guitars you are playing called?

  • @Mrvoodooboy89 gypsy jazz guitars

  • Wow, he's quick

  • he is the Charlie Parker of guitar. Flawless speed and precision, excellent phrasing, and beautifully chosen notes.

  • HOLY!!!! At :51 I'm pretty sure someone just sped up the VID...HAHAHAHA I can't BELIVE how fast this guys fretting is and he still get's GREAT innotation... simply amazing. I find it nearly impossible to follow he's so fast... SO awesome.

  • Excellent !!!

  • 2 people play even better than this.

  • word

  • That Django Print on the left is awesome. Is it available anywhere?

  • Right now, he's the only player who encourages me to work on my speed ,through his playing. He can slice through changes like butter...and it's all articulate, and acoustic. All I play is my Gitane D-500, it's all I can afford right now. I've listened to the Rosenbergs for over 10 years now. Thanks!!

  • i really loved the fact that at the beggining they wrote "medium" as the difficulty XDDD

  • @jingeshan24 "medium" refers to the tempo of the song

  • @mrguitarmarcelo yea.. i figured it out myself and even so if that's medium speed what is fast??!?!? XDDD

  • wow please come to Australia you and your friend and make sure have accordion in the band alot of people will love it to much xoxoxox

  • he has got the best licks, the best timing and the most beutiful vibrato.

and he grew up with the music, so everything comes so naturally.

  • Stochelo is playing a Leo Eimers (eimers-guitars.nl) copy of a Selmer.

  • @cminor7b5 isnt it his brothers?

  • @cminor7b5 But what happened to it? The varnish looks messed up, de moustage is missing and there is a weird black thing on the end of the fretboard near the oval hole.

  • What type of guitar is that?

  • @davidestar93 Maccaferri

  • I really like this style of guitar as well as classical! Maybe in the next lifetime!

  • wow

  • lovely stuff!

  • 1 retard doesn't like this huh? Sad...you guys were amazing!

  • The best part = 0:00 - 1:48

  • Awesome...

  • MEDIUM?

  • @voodoosoup

Sure it is ! Look when stochelo play on a fast tempo and you'll do an epilepsy crisis for sure ...

  • @voodoosoup medium tempo

  • Fucking Hell O.o

I´m a long time shredder listener. And I always listend to music like Petrucci, Cooley, Becker and so on...

    but THIS...

hell yeah. Especially: 0:43 to 1:02

  • @flashmaster1990 its a whole new world my friend...hope you get into Gypsy jazz and gain an understanding and appreciation for true class and musicianship

  • @flashmaster1990 welcome to the mens room

  • @flashmaster1990 phrasing fast not shredding (Y)

  • @flashmaster1990 - I hear you, mate. I love my metal, but I also love great jazz and the chord voicings and fast, tasteful licks just like those! If I could afford one, I'd want a 7-string gypsy guitar, hehe!

  • @oddfellowfloyd

If you love both, Metal and Gypsiejazz than check out: Emil Werstler.. he has combined both stiles very well. :)

And it´s funny, i know the German Gypsie Player Joscho Stephan (if you not know him, you have to check out his Youtube version of "Bossa Dorrado". Killer!) and actually he is a huge Metal fan :D

  • Did any one notice that there was a note missing from the solo...or was that a demi-semi-quaver rest..???

  • i love stochelo

  • when I said argentines mostly, I mean that's what most people seem to like; but as far as I've heard Stochelo doesn't use them. Dennis might know it's his video :-)

  • @grfellows : As far as I know Stochelo use Galli strings. This strings are okay if you change them every week (if you play like 6 hours/day) but if you don't, they turn very ugly after a while with an horrible sound....

  • He's wearing a galli strings t shirt. I'm thinking he maybe uses gallis

  • Argentines mostly, but I heard Stochelo uses silk and steels (gallis?). Personally I've been using John Pearse 'Nuages' strings which I really like which sound like argentines but seem to last a lot longer so far. I had the action on my guitar really high (chip forks under bridge)for ages but it was hurting my hands to play so I lowered it by half which was great, but got a lot of buzz at that height from silk and steels because they're lower tension.Nice if you get the setup right though

  • ya stochelo is using gallis, or elixirs.. at one point he was using elixirs , i think he's back to gallis...

  • what kind of strings do these guys use?
