@MrMoonlight222 in any sport, when a player is injured and is carried off the field...everyone claps. thats no where near corny or silly. its a way of honoring them. they are so involved in the game that they go down fighting until they cant fight no more. thats what it means to be a true athlete. something you probably arent used to.
