  • Nice elevators but why did chose not to tour the basement 'B'?

  • b is locked.

  • This is an interesting one because there is side brailles, the word up/down, and the arrows. Also the indacator and hall lantern are seperated. Then the interior indacator is above the door. How interesting is that?

  • Why can't these get to 14?

  • They are in a different wing that's only 7 floors tall.

  • why is there an 8 button if the building is only 7 floors tall?

  • Mechanical floor, I guess.

  • I cannot find where the indicator is placed but it is on the top of the door. Darn.

  • As I recall, I read about this hospital in the paper. Apparently it may be shut down due to lack of funds. Bummer.

  • I've never seen a Dover elevator like this before, with the floor indicator moved from above the blue Dover name to the top of the door!

  • Of course, hospital elevators use 2-speed doors to accomodate the freight and stretcher beds boarding the elevator.

  • Yeah, but I have also seen a combination of center-opening and dual 2-speed doors at this hospital.

  • sweet

  • Why does the hospital restrict the top floor?

  • Well, that floor is unaccessible on the other elevators, and also it is the only one to have a key switch.
