Brilliant. IMO, it's always better to have an actor read a poem, than the poet, because it brings another dimension to the experience-particularly with a phonetic poem.
Whenever I go to a poetry reading and hear the the poet read his/her own work, I invariably think- "Who came up with the idea of having the poet read"? That's like having the fashion designer model his own clothes.
Sabon by Jan Tschihold. Another "entartete Kunstler" according to the Nazis. Approproate use really. Dada is suppose to make you wtf? Random kids, it's just random, don't think about it too much. ;o)

@Mality Blonk makes more sense than any politician.. be glad Beck is not one, lying all the time and blaming each other when they couldn't fix a torn paper bag
Study the score. It's extremely, vigorously, rigidly structured; the whole thing. It really is a classical sonata done with syllables. It makes sense that a performer would try to reflect that. I've done it in my own performances of the piece; and even if you try to fight it, it comes out anyway.
Also, Jaap Blonk loosening up: already done plz; look at his other performances.
Now say "She sells sea shells by the sea shore" 10 times fast.

This would be fun to perform in a karaoke bar :) It reminds me of Berio's "Parole".

This is one of the best performances of Ursonate I have heard and it still gets the reaction it had in the beginning. That's just great!

I think there is still quite an absurd quantity of logic in this absurdity.
