In a sort of anarchy where everyone had enough food but with lawenforcement and hospitals. Usa liked that, and wanted them to have "us democracy". I agree with bf2theatre; the TOW is about twice as large as this system, and has a longer, more "stovepipe-like" launch tube.
The TOW also bobs in flight, while this ATGM seems to twirl.

The Russians are the ones who deserve the respect here, boys and girls. Sorry to say, but they were more effective than the US in Vietnam. At least when the Soviets pulled out they hadn't committed as much to the war and, on top of that, their "puppet" government lasted 3 and 1/2 years. If the US didn't involve themselves so much trying to get the Soviets back for supporting the VC in 'nam, then we would be talking about how fast the Soviets ran over the mujahedin.

No u wouldn't.....u C guerilla warfare is the dominant warfare in jungles AND urban....take a look at afganistan,,Russians have suffered a lot of casualties there.....take a look a vietnam..we have suffered a lot 2 right there....and same here now in Iraq. Noboby can run over the mujahedin...they are everywhere. I mean al qauda can't be run over...everytime u killed some of their people, they recruit more..it's just that unfair man...dat's what i hate about terrorist and guerilla warfare.

Since both sides in nearly all conflicts regard each other as "the enemy" or "badguys," then there is sound reason in the argument that wars are fought by BAD GUYS. Soviets fucked up US airspace in Vietnam by getting 7000 AA-missles to vietnam that seriusly made it hard for US pilots it is a documentary "dance of death" posted here on you tube about that. And when it comes to korea. Detroying about 700 US and UN aircraft of total 1040. Stalin sent Ace Pilots. And In Vietnam, Vietnamees allmoust only had russian equipment. More than 2 Million AK47's. And another million of other hand weapons. Tanks, APC's, and dont forget Jets which scored good.

They set Guiness record on shooting down jet planes in one single mission "Says so in Guinnes Record book 2003". The record is.. 24 Planes in one mission. They were in Vietnam to. U se the only big air to air combat in Vietnam. USA, South Vietnam lost 4-5 times more planes than North Vietnam, USSR.
