I don't blame Mr. Mixon one bit. I would be ticked off too if someone used my idea. The thing about pro bbq is that it is expected that by the time you make this level of competition you don't need to use another competitor's ideas to make your own product even better. I wouldn't stoop to this level personally.

If anything he should've used the muffin pan as a flavor adding device. Like maybe fill the bottom of each cup with beer/liquor mixed with aromatic spices and herbs that will evaporate and empty out THROUGH the meat as its cooking. Using it just for the shape seems like the waste of a lump of metal.
