For the stock GN's they are quick when it is , but a stock 5.0 LX Mustang on a warm night day might of outran the GN. I use to cruze around in a stock GN in 1987 and still have the car today in the original stock condition (17K miles on the odometer). Oh yes do you know in 1989 they put the 3.8 Turbo in the Firebirds (TTA)?

Kenne Bell needs to leave the V6 Buicks alone. He was fantastic with the V8 Buicks but fucked up with the V6 cars. How do I know this? Because we have a GN motor sitting on an engine stand in our garage that needs to be rebuilt because the cam that he sold us flattened on a lobe and the motor let go. We ended up replacing that motor with a Stage Motor put together by Ken Dutweiler.
we ended up finding out that it was the castings that were used for the cams. it ended up going flat. Dutweiler, when we had him build our motor, said he had several guys that had that issue after using that cam. The 109 blocks have their shortfalls but they aren't that bad.
THATS NOT A GNX!!!! Its a Grand National! They only made 547 GNXs you can tell by lookin at it its not a GNX and why would you build up a GNX anyways the cars worth 90,000+ dollars right now.
