@maryannwin You may be getting it mixed up with the US, PBS version. My videos are all based on the episodes shown originally, in the UK, which was episode 4 in this case.

What I dont get is that if hes missing and comes back? Then hes wounded and comes back home in the hospital?? Confusing

@startingoutbackwards He goes missing for a short time, but was not wounded and got back home. Then he and William are at the front some time later, they go on a charge against the enemy and both are seriously wounded!

@startingoutbackwards ..Mathew was 'missing in action' because he and William went out on a recon mission, then later on they were all 'sent over the top' and shells went off. Mathew and William were blown up by one of them.. William's body protected Mathew to a degree, but he also landed on him, causing the paralysis..Poor William died of his injuries, and married Daisy on his death-bed, to secure her a widow's war pension, because he loved her so much.

@startingoutbackwards Hard to know, I would guess around 26. In the very first episode, it was April 1912 when the Titanic sank, so she must have been maybe 20 then, judging on Edith and Sybil being younger. Though I could be miles off!

Thank you so much for uploading this. I can't help feeling strangely drawn to this serie. It's so human, so incredibly revealing of how feelings express themselves through our actitudes and our eyes. Our whole body is an open book, more so here.

It's a pity we cannot, except through uploadings such as yours, have the opportunity to see the episodes or resort to Amazon, which I think is what I'll do.

I'll have a heart attack if I have to wait months to come to get to see the end.

Oh, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! Opening on Mary and Violet, and even including the Mary and Robert scene was great. The slo-mo effect on Matthew picking up the dog was awesome (sigh). :) Again, your choice of clips and voiceover is tremendous. :D I adored cutting from the trenches to Mary and Edith... :( And the ending...how you cut the music out and let them speak (sing) for themselves. :D AMAZING. :) This was such an emotional ep and you did it justice here beautifully. Please keep creating! :D
